Our laundry room is small and gets humid. This works well to pull moisture from the air.

I originally bought this after some water got spilled in our basement and started smelling musty. It cleared that up. I then used it in a closet that had had a previous water leak and smelled almost like cat pee. This little thing cleared up the moisture and the odor!If you're sensitive to smells you might want to be careful as it is pretty strong lavender scented. It didn't bother me, but it might bother some people. Otherwise it's an excellent product!

This item works really well. I have to change about once a week.

Great Closet Air Fresher

It’s been just 24 hours since I placed the product in my room and have already noticed a significant difference in air. Well worth the money. I got the lavender scent and it’s perfect, leaves the air light with just a kiss of sweetness.

Too much moisture can lead to mold and a musty smell. Closets can tend to have this in older houses. I bought this for an add on closet that didn't have insulation. I am impressed at the pleasant smell and after two days I noticed the crystals had been absorbing moisture. If you just want it for a better smelling closet it would be good for that as well. The package is very simple. It comes sealed. There is an insert to keep dry crystals seperated from the disolved ones. You remove the package of absorbing crystals and pour them in in the cup with the seperater in place. Put the slotted lid back on and let it go to work.I purchased the Lavender scented. It is very pleasant.

Was expecting this to be a disappointment. Pleasantly surprised. My condo has the closet in the bathroom, so I worry about humidity. This unit also had a smoker in it, and I've been battling that. My clothes were smelling funky despite several coats of Killz in the closet. Once I got this, that problem went away. I'm not saying this is magic for a smoke smell, but rather the humidity was probably exacerbating the problem and this stopped it. Also, kind of fun to watch. I keep another one in the bathroom part of the room (it's a really weird set up - toilet and shower in one half, vanity and closet in the other half) because, well, I can't STAND the sound of the fan. Works great - it's humid for a few minutes after the shower but not after.

After 3 days of use in a closet, there is no water collected yet, but the walk in space has a nice lavender smell that is fresh and clean. I put a humidity monitor in the closet and it was under 49, so this could be why it has not collected water yet. As the humidity rises, I am sure it will do the job. This closet has had humidity problems in the past and will surely benefit from this product. I will update later if possible.
