Works Just as Intended
Works just as intended! It’s not super fun to put in your eye, I kind of wish it came with an applicator because it’s a little difficult to get off your finger, but otherwise it works!

Works, but it’s easy to waste!
This product was recommended to me by my eye doctor for Map Dot Fingerprint Dystrophy. (If you have very very dry eyes, look it up. This might be you.) The product seems to keep eyes moisturized well, but is very expensive for such a tiny tube. That said, it is much cheaper on Amazon! Unfortunately when the tube is full, like on the first few uses, the product tends to stream out of the tube on its own causing a lot of product to be wasted. Take care when opening, because you only need about 1/4” line of ointment to apply inside your eyelid and I had around an inch come streaming out! And I did not squeeze the tube! Didn’t want to waste it, so I used it on both eyes, but it was wayyyyyy too much. Made my eyes feel greasy after application and all day the next day LOL. I’m assuming if you use the correct amount this wouldn’t be as bad. Let’s hope anyway!

Excellent night time eye lubricant.
I have been using this eye lubricant for many years, I apply it before going to sleep,it prevents the scratching sensation that I used to feel when I would wake up in the morning. If you have dry eyes this is worth trying.

Have Used Muro 128 5% Ointment for Years for Corneal Edema
I have issues with corneal edema with my eyes. My doctor recommended Bausch & Lomb Muro 128 Sodium Chloride Ointment for my eyes every night before bed. I have tried generic ointment products, but believe Muro ointment has been the best for my condition. The Muro Ointment can be quite pricey however, which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Now for full disclosure: I have also used Bausch & Lomb Muro Sodium Chloride EYE DROPS for my eyes during the day, but have found Bausch & Lomb eye drops quite expensive overall, because I use the drops several times a day, and go through a bottle very quickly. So for daytime eye drops, I have found another effective brand which is more reasonably priced.

Check before using! QC Issue! Ointment should not be clear
I’ve been using this nightly for years and I recently received a tube that had clear ointment. I did not realize until I used it. At first I thought maybe the formula had changed so I used it a couple times. The last time it was a bit gritty. I spoke to Bausch + Lomb and it appears I received a bad tube. The seller was Amazon, the preferred seller for the company. I call the Bausch + Lomb customer support and they have requested the item back and are sending a refund. Please check your ointment before using. I’ve attached photos of the lot and expiration of the item I received. Please be careful and report any issues you may encounter to the manufacturer and not Amazon. I still highly recommend this product.
