Love this series, it was one of the first fantasy series I read and readig it over again remind me why I loved it.

Love this book series! I first read it in college and now back to it at 60 yrs old. Good quality soft bound book.

Bought these for my cousin's youngest, who for some reason thought 'Twilight' was a good read. He's getting more books to wash that taste out of his brain.

Love this series! We checked it out from the library and listened to the series on cd while traveling. Then I had to have the books!

While this particular set is running late, I've had paperbacks (and a few 1st edition hard copies) for years. When I moved last year, three boxes of books disappeared and I thought I'd lost them forever; I started buying them again. Just waiting on this shipment to arrive and it'll be complete, WITH the addition of "The Rivan Codex." Anyway, boxes were finally located this past week, including all my well-worn copies! Luckily I'd been telling my hair stylist about them and she was intrigued. Turns out she's having surgery in a couple of days so I bought her a large bookbag and surprised her with them. She was so excited about them. I hope she gets the enjoyment out of them that I did. I'm re-reading these for the third time...and with each reading I find a nugget of information I hadn't realized before.So they are not just for children! When I was in 5th grade, our teacher read "A Wrinkle In Time" by Madeleine L'Engle. Later on I discovered the next books, "A Wind In The Door" and "A Swiftly Tilting Planet." It wasn't until I was in my 40s that I found out there were 2 more in the series, "Many Waters" and "An Acceptable Time!" The David/Leigh Eddings series feels similar to these in content and cadence. All of these are books for ALL ages!!
