RAW Enzymes 8oz - Potent Plant Enzyme Blend for Enhanced Nutrient Uptake and Healthy Root Development

I have been growing almost all of our veggies and herbs in our basement year around for about 8 years. For the first few years, when I disposed of old plants, the pots were dumped in an area on our 5 acre property thinking that nature would break down the root balls naturally. Well, this wasn't the case. The piles of used potting soil and plant debris became a problem. Since the general belief is that potting soil used indoors shouldn't be reused for various reasons, I was dumping pots of expensive potting soil and plant material that we finally had to pay to have it removed. I had to come up with a solution for this problem. Was it really necessary to dispose of "dirty dirt" or could it be safely reused?So, I started reusing the soil in pots that were not terribly rootbound. For these, we got a large garbage bin, and they are added to the bin for garbage pickup. Those that were not too full of roots, I transferred the soil to a different pot scoop by scoop, picking out the larger roots. I was doing this because sterilized potting soil does not contain the natural bacterial microbes and enzymes that outdoor soil does.Since discovering the Raw products, I still pick out the large roots from pots of used potting soil, but I don't worry about the smaller roots. The RAW enzymes break down organic matter in soil and increase nutrient uptake. Since only 1/8 tsp. is used per gallon of water, a little goes a long way. I also use the RAW microbe products to add the microbial bacteria to my potting soil.I found the 8 oz. packages of these products to be more economical if you have a lot of plants as I do. Granted, these products aren't cheap, but they pay for themselves in the production of the plants, and the need for less potting soil.I hope this review was helpful for you.

Our pet chicken likes eating grass and bush leaves and often caused severe digestion problem. We tried several different Enzymes. This one works the best! Try to use half tea-spoon or less each for one feeding day. 2 days consecutively if need. Then stop feeding it and wait for the symptom disappear.

This stuff works! It breaks down dead root matter when i use it for cleaning up perlite so im sure its doing what it needs to in my feed regimen. It goes a long way as do all of npk's products. Buying more soon

You should not have to add enzymes but as some people are trying to make it easier for the plant to process and microbes to process things easier therefore making it easier for the plant to create other products within itself more abundantly

I give it a 5 based on knowledge regarding the importance of enzymes and aminos. I expect that one can use less nutrient since this will help with the breakdown for plant uptake. Best looking buds in years
