How about a replacement for item damaged prior to shipping? I paid quite a bit for this product and one of them was broken. The box had no damage.

I had the same problem. Just one bottle broken. Amazon refunded me for the one bottle. I had to wash the sauce off of the others.

Are any of the Mutti tomato products (sauces,etc) prepared by peeling and de-seeding the tomatoes first?

Excellent product, beware of shipping issues

Mutti passata is excellent. I use it regularly and it is a favorite. Great flavor and convenient to use.The biggest problem seems to be getting the order delivered intact. Nearly always has multiple bottles broken. I order this product routinely and nearly always have breakage. The vendor has been very responsive and corrected issues promptly.

TikTok suggestions sometimes work!

So I confess that I tried this tomato sauce after watching a man from Italy living in the USA making pasta on TikTok.I followed his advice and gently warmed the sauce for about 20 minutes only adding salt and pepper. I did add a little sweet cream butter as I did not have olive oil.The product has a great taste and the simple preparation was better than any jarred pasta sauce. Simple tomato taste and quality Italian pasta, that's all you need for a great meal.

Yes, one was shattered. But, every bottle was wrapped meticulously, just had some bad luck. Odd thing was, shattered bottle was interior on packaging, not on outside. Oh well
