The stand scratches easily, so be careful unpacking. Do not remove the cardboard on the horse hair - it does not come with instructions, and you need to leave it on and fit it into the slot on the helmet. The helmet itself is very strong and is 100% wearable, but it ii is not cheap cosplay plastic - it is the real deal. A great compliment to my forged iron Spartan sword. Beautiful and quality.

Got this helmet recently to add as a home piece, and it's pretty cool. Due to moisture in the air, when it arrived, it was 'wet', or oily - probably from the coating, but a quick wipe down and dry-off, it's fine. Nothing bad. The plume that came with it, I love that it's horsehair, the tail of it was super super long, so I shaped it to our liking. The inside of it is actually okay to wear on the head - if you want to do that, but it's not set up to be like an actual helmet, though I'm sure a little tweaking you could convert it to a wearable one. It's on Display in our home, and it's just a great reminder for us. The detailing on the metal work is pretty cool, and it's craftsmanship is well done. I do recommend to anyone interested to get this if you're wanting a display piece. The price is very good, as well. It's a little heavy, but that is expected. The stand it comes with is great, too. Nice dark finish to it, and since it's not the focal point, I'm not worried about it if it gets slightly dinged. It came in great condition. Thanks!

The only complaint i have is the small ridge that digs into my forehead when i put it on. Thankfully i dont wear it much and it sits on my desk and an awesome piece to look at! Convinced a kid on my street that im a real spartan 10/10

I bought the helmet as a birthday gift, and it was a hit! The quality is outstanding—no cheap plastic or flimsy materials like some other versions out there. I don’t write many reviews but I felt the need to with this one - It’s a cool looking decoration, but it’s very low quality item. The metal is a bit warped and the stand broke during a very gentle set-up. The “hair” doesn’t fit very well into the helmet slot - it slides around. It was also completely tangled when it arrived. There’s surely better options.
