Spaghetti factory browned, butter, and Mizithra cheese is my absolute favorite
This is Mithra cheese, and it is fabulous! All you need to do is cook up some spaghetti noodles, brown some butter, and slather this stuff all over it.The only downside is that it sticks in your teeth. But that is totally what this kind of cheese does. So just make sure everyone eats it and you can laugh at each other together, but while you’re doing that, you will be so satisfied and your belly will be so happy — OK, you’re not even gonna notice the teeth thing because it just tastes that good.Push that button! I love love love this cheese
I make burned buttery #2 pasta and heavily sprinkle this cheese over it for serving. It's always a big hit. Delicious! Highly recommend. -Steve Sapato Seminars

Horrible cheese
I've had other brands of this cheese and it's delicious. However this brand is totally and completely tasteless. I contacted the seller who never got back to me. Don't waste your money. It's also very expensive

Perhaps the Best Cheese for “White” Pasta
I (re)discovered this Myzithra cheese years ago at a restaurant called Old Spaghetti Factory. It was the cheese used in a simple, tomato-sauce-free pasta I had ordered. My father, who was Greek, might have used the same cheese when he made pasta dishes for us. I loved the taste, but I could not find it in grocery stores. The stuff from Amazon tasted great. It comes well-preserved in a twist-tied plastic bag of (guessing) maybe 500 ml in size. Upon delivery, I split it up into two containers and keep them in the refrigerator. I’m afraid I have no idea how long it should last, but three months later, it still tastes the same to me.

Lacking flavor
This product arrived quickly and was shipped with an ice pack in insulated material so I had no concerns about freshness. However, the flavor I’ve come to know and love with mizthra cheese was just not there. I have made several recipes and used about a quarter of a pound in pasta dishes and salad dressings, but am disappointed with the flavor.

fresh, finely grated. use it or lose it!
wife enjoyed this at the spaghetti factory in san diego when she was little. I love it, use it with other cheeses mixed into an omelette, pasta, pasta sauces. Delicate, refined taste, not strong. Smooth and flavorful. FANTASTIC. BOUGHT IT TWICE now. THEY SEND IT on an ice pack. warm by the time of arrival but it was a hot week. once in the frig, use it!! there is a lot. and it lasts. after maybe a couple of months, i saw it had a little mold. so i might have skimmed it but nah, tossed it. so i can buy another. use it or lose it!! Not seen this anywhere else.

Not the Spaghetti Factory Cheese
I was hoping the reviews were a one off, but the cheese arrived warm in some places and barely cool in others; granted this was during a heat wave. Luckily I happened to be home and refrigerated it immediately. I tasted the cheese and believe it will be fine, but it does not taste like the Spaghetti Factory cheese if that is what you are expecting. I will not purchase it again.
