Great product
I ordered the DogLemi Cat Recovery Suit the day before her spay. I know the rear end picture is not pretty; however, that is what I wanted to know and could not find before ordering. Please notice her tail is up and in the happy position. I can confirm she is comfortable in the suit. For reference, she is four months old and weights 4.5 pounds. Based on the sizing chart, the X-Small is what I ordered, and it fits well, maybe a little large. I'm sure a larger cat could use this as well. I tried a soft e-collar that we borrowed while waiting for the suit to be delivered. She went crazy trying to get it off! It was like she was being punished and was going to hurt herself. We took it off and kept a close eye on her until the suit arrived. When we first put the suit on her the day of her surgery, she at first flopped like a fish and then pulled herself across the floor with her front legs. Within 30 minutes, she walked much like a kitten learning to walk. An hour later, she was walking normally. She never tried to get to the incision while wearing the suit. We ordered a second suit after knowing this one fit so well, and just in case this one gets dirty and needs to be washed. I took the suit off the day after surgery to give her a chance to clean. In less than 15 minutes, she was licking the incision. The suit went back on, and she did not even think about the incision. This is the second day, and she has done #1 and #2 with nothing getting on the suit. Happy ME!!!I would definitely recommend this Recovery Suit. I would use the same process again, Order one suit and make sure it fits. Then order the second suit.I ordered the 2nd suit from another company and will post this exact review on their reviews. It is the same DogLemi Cat Recovery Suit.Revised Review:We had to put a baby's diaper safety pin between the two velcro attachments to keep her from escaping the suit. See the picture. Easy Enough! We still give it 5 starsWe plan to donate the suits to an animal rescue organization when we she is healed. They will put them to good use many many times.I hope this helps everyone that is going to spay their cat.

Great recovery suit for your pet
We just got this and it is a great recovery suit! We bought a different brand at first and it was I’ll-fitting. The elastic neck was too big and the circumference on the body was too small so my poor 6 month Balinese was just uncomfortable. Good thing she only had to wear that suit for 2 days. My husband found this and the measurements were simple to figure out which size is right. We got the XS and it is a great fit. We love that the neck has the toggle to tighten to fit our cat’s neck. Since she is slender and long, so the arm holes give her enough room for her legs. I love the Velcro straps for the hind legs so you can adjust depending on your cat. It’s cotton so it’s breathable allowing for your cat to feel comfortable while wearing it.

Works well, but started falling apart within hours of having it on

Nice material, strange fit
This shirt has a strange fit. The medium was too big but the small was much too small. The material is better than any other suit we have tried. It is soft, durable and has withheld my cat’s licking. Unfortunately, the medium suit kept catching my cats turds when he used the litter box. We ended up adding some rouching to the underneath of the medium size (see picture) and that helped. The neck line is also a bit wide and low so that it sits right on his collar bone. The Velcro is nice and strong, and doesn’t catch everything like some Velcro does. I wish it were a better fit but it is the best one I’ve found so far. We also twist the little bands that go around his back legs.

Double Check Size -- better than cone for active kitten
This just barely fit my 6 month old kitten, (she was spayed) she's very long so I was happy I got this one with the velcro straps, I could leave it a little more loose on the back. She doesn't seem comfortable enough to use the cat box with it on however, so make sure to either put the velcro straps on the side and stick them so it's more like a shirt or take it off every now and then so they can have supervised grooming. This does help her sleep better through the night when she wears it.Because the spay is taking 2 weeks to heal from after the first week she began to get more annoyed with the suit and figured out how to pull the straps off herself. You can easily just make it more like a t - shirt and not wrap the straps around the legs when they need to use the box or run around but keep an eye out because they'll realize they can reach their scar soon enough. She was very happy with this the first few days but now I switch between the suit and the cone through the day to give some variety to the things she can do and her mobility since both have their cons.Definitely still recommend, especially for an active kitty!

Does not work for cats with one back leg
My year old cat has an amputated rear leg. I bought this to keep him from messing with his abdominal stitches after he was neutered. It was very awkward to secure the rear straps. It ended up being visibly uncomfortable for him to move in, and severely limited his mobility with his rear leg. Where he normally would hop around, he could only drag himself across the floor. I did my best to secure the loose strap on the side where he is missing a leg, but it didn’t help as much as I thought it would. The first time he used the litterbox he urinated all over himself. Immediately threw it away. Waste of money.
