Necoichi Raised Cat Water Bowl, Elevated, with Measurement Lines, Dishwasher and Microwave Safe, No.1 Seller in Japan! (Cat, Regular)

My cat loves this water bowl. I replaced his stainless steel water dish, which was on the floor, with this nice raised bowl and right away he went to check it out and have a nice long drink. It seems to be a better height for him to drink, and also keeps the dust on the floor out of his bowl, aside from being rather stylish to look at. Plus it won't start to rust like the steel bowls did after a few years. I think the water must taste better out of this than steel (well, it's true for people, anyway). It is also easy to keep clean. My cat does get canned food and that's where most of his liquids come from, but I always provide clean fresh water, especially on hot days. This bowl makes it easier to keep water fresh and clean, and also seems to appeal to my kitty much more than the steel bowl on the floor. Another thing is that the bowl has measurements printed on the inside, which is helpful to monitor your cat's water intake, especially if a cat is unwell and you aren't sure they are hydrated sufficiently. Overall a very nice water bowl and well worth paying a little extra over plain stainless steel, because it encourages my kitty to drink plenty of water!

Raised bowl is easy for the cat to reach

I ended up buying all 3 in the series (water, food, and treats). They're all made so well and heavy enough so they don't wander around the floor (you know how bowls like to walk at night). I felt like the water bowl just didn't hold enough water. I only have one cat, but I like to keep out lots of water just in case I find myself kidnapped by an evil villain. At least while I'm bound up I can think "At least my cat has enough water until someone realizes I'm missing". So I used his old ceramic water bowl for water.Now, this actually was fortunate, because I found that the food bowl just wasn't big enough (yeah, I have size issues). Oh, it held the food just fine, it's just my cat eats wet food and has no teeth (I would get him dentures, but I'm afraid he'd lose them). So the food just slipped out of the bowl so easily and all over the side and floor. Ugh, what a freakin' mess. But, in comes the water bowl for the rescue (but not to free me from the lair). It turns out that the water bowl was purrfect (sorry, it had to be done) for the food.So now I use the water bowl for wet food, the food bowl for dry food (since I don't give him a lot of that) and the treat bowl for treats (major surprise there). It all works out just fine. The 3 bowls are all in harmony now and are working out great in their new functions.And what does the cat think of all of this? Not a thing. The cat doesn't care where you put the stuff, just put it out.Oh, I took photos of the bowls (hey, I'm a single guy with a cat, what else is there to do?). The treat bowl has 15 treats, the food bowl has a 1/4 cup of dry food, and the water bowl has 5.5 oz of wet food.

My cats prefer fresh water, but aren't so picky that I need a fountain. I wanted something that would be raised, not too large, heavy enough to not slide around, and could be washed in the dishwasher as needed. This bowl is perfect for my two cats. On warm days it holds enough water to last my cats a full 24hr day, but I refresh water morning and night at feeding times, anyway. I already owned one of the Neochi food bowls, so this was a no-brainer. These products are durable, attractive, and most importantly - good for the kitties. Raised bowls are more comfortable for them to eat and drink from, and the shallow food dishes prevent whisker fatigue. They go through the dishwasher wonderfully, which makes keeping a clean and sanitary food/water system simple.I'm a big fan of all their products. I have two food dishes, a double tray, this water dish, and a single tray for the water dish. I've had them for months now, and the first food bowl for over a year - you cannot tell which ones came first. They still look brand new. They are 100% worth the cost.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a review for the Necoichi raised/elevated cat water bowl. I own two jelly bean versions, but use them for food. My cats drink water out of human cups. :)These ceramic bowls are excellent quality, and a good height for my cats. There are other higher elevated ceramic cat bowls out there, but the Necoichi elevation heights work great for my cats. The bowls are easy to wash, AND they are cute. Necoichi ocassionaly comes out w/special editions that are even cuter.One of my cats gets ‘kitty acne,’ little brown and black spots on his chin. Having a ceramic bowl helps keep his kitty acne at bay.I highly recommend purchasing any/all of the Necoichi dishes. I already have. Haha I own the regular food version (height is a little taller) and the kitty treat bowl. I love all the dishes and they are double kitty approved.

Definitivamente de las mejores compras que he hecho para mis gatos.Me gusta que la forma del tazón les permite tomar agua con facilidad y la altura les ayuda a mantener una mejor posición sin tener que agacharse demasiado. Además puedo ver si el agua llega a ensuciarse y siempre pueden tener agua limpia y en suficiente cantidad.Compre las tres presentaciones que tiene la marca y son ideales para distribuir la comida seca, húmeda y el agua en cada uno. Puede ser un poco caro adquirir los tres pero ellos lo valen.

I have a large cat, 4 years old. She seems to much enjoy eating higher off the floor. Using for 1 month now. Have not had a throw up in all that time. I have 2 water bowls, 3 food bowls, and the tray. I used water bowl for water and dry food. Easy to monitor her input that way. They are porcelain or somesuch so are not thick. Appear to be durable so far. Love them..,.. highly recommend.

This is a nicely designed water bowl with minimal graphics which give it a very clean appearance.The base has a removable opaque silicone ring to help prevent slipping.Lovely bowl. Highly recommended.

Ich habe für meinen Senior Kater (17 Jahre) diesen Wassnapf bestellt. Vorher habe ich immer einen großen Yoghurtbecher (1kg) verwendet wegen der Höhe und jeden Tag viel Wasser weggeschüttet. Außerdem war der Boden um den Eimer immer vollgepanscht! Der Wassernapf hat eine Skala, was sehr nützlich ist (mein Kater ist nierenkrank), so kann ich kontrollieren wieviel getrunken wurde. Der Rand ist so konstruiert, dass das Wasser nicht so rausschwappt. Der Boden rundrum ist jetzt sauber.

I purchased this to go with the matching food bowl & i am very pleased with it.My Cat has arthritis in the shoulder joint of her front leg & both the water & food bowl have helped her eat & drink without having to stoop & bend her front legs.This is an ideal height for any Cats to eat & drink from & i do highly recommend them.
