Does this work for what I needed it for, without a doubt. I love the way it worked out for me. I have some carnivorous plants that I needed I little more room for and this provided the room. They don’t grow very big so this works out great. I have my humidifier on the side and the LED grow lights spread out on top.It’s doesn’t come with a topper for it and that’s ok. I don’t need one so that air can circulate through.I’m really impressed with the structure of the display itself. The corners seems strong. It came very securely packaged.I’m so glad I stumbled across this “aquarium” here. Exactly what I need.

I can confirm with the other reviews that this little tank does in fact have external dimensions of 36cm x 22cm x 26cm (or 14.17in x 8.66in x 10.24in), with 5mm thick glass, and so the internal dimensions being 35cm x 21cm x 25.5cm gives this tank a true capacity of 4.95 gallons if filled to the rim rather than the outside dimensions, which would give 5.44 gallons.A black foam mat is included.The packaging was stellar - thick corner foam inserts that fit the tank snug into the box with lots of packing peanuts. I am pleased that my tank arrived in one piece.This tank, although not as advertised, is just the size which I was looking for, and so I am pleased with my purchase. Thank you to the other reviewers for cautioning against this listing's given dimensions.

I wanted this rectangular dimension in UNS tank but not available and I needed it to fit the Twinstar 360E which are custom sized for twinstar products, finally found this and the quality is there for half the price! If you don't the logo you can just turn it around fyi (I read that in low reviews about this and it's ridiculous, logo only on one side, I actually don't mind showing it so it's on the front)

This tank was the perfect size for my daughter's aqua scape plant project with 1 Beta fish. Good size for sitting on a desk or shelf.

Sigh, I should have read the reviews more, I suppose. Or at least ran the measurements in a volume calculator. Because it's definitely not 5 gallons. I'd be surprised if it's 4. Minus about an inch or two from the top, and another inch or two for substrate, you might get 3.5 gallons of water in it.So, 5 gallons is really the smallest aquarium I would ever want. On the other hand, I always wanted one of these - rimless, low iron - even this very brand. Wish it was a bit bigger, but it is very beautiful. The aquarium itself is a beautiful piece/work of art in itself.I got an open box for a discount, at least. Like new condition.If you measure from the inside of the glass, and minus space left above for water level, and space for the substrate, I got about ~13.5 / ~8.25 / ~7.75 inches = 3.74 gallons

Very nice aquarium. We bought it for a beta fish and the edges are clear and seamless.

I got this for nano tank it’s a bit expensive, but after watching a lot to YouTube videos it seemed like a really close alternative to Ada tanks you see everywhere. I wanted to make my first nano tank with lie plants and it over exceeded my expectations.

Listen to the others: this is NOT the 9.6 gallon, but the smaller (nano) 4.9 gallon. I love how the manufacturer answered in the questions that it is indeed the larger. It is not. Maybe we should all call the customer service number they put in that answer. When mine arrived and I saw it was so small, I sent an email with photos of the mistake to the manufacturer, but there was NO response. As for quality, it's absolutely gorgeous. Low iron glass is well worth the higher price, but because of the awful customer service, I'll buy it from a different company in the future. So should you.
