Great pseudo French doors for odd opening
We have a playroom/den that converts to a guest sleeping area as needed. However it doesn’t have a door so we were looking for something that...1. Had windows so the natural light and views still come thru the hallway2. Did not take up much space when doors are open3. Able to adjust to uneven floorThese “closet” doors fit all of the criteria and we’re heavy duty quality! Not cheap and hollow like typical closet doors. We bought to units for this double door look and had to plane and cut to fit the opening. Keep in mind because they are closet doors you can technically only open and close easily on one side (which we made facing inside the room as we keep it open except if we’re inside). However, we did put handles facing the hallway which is the backside of the closet doors because with some maneuvering you can leverage the door open/close. The handles on the backside should be placed at the inner panels as you would expect in true doors. See pics for the different handle placements on both sides.

Great door
I bought this to make a door for a staircase to a bungalow loft. Looks great and high quality. Installation was super easy. Just make sure you have a plumb line for installation. I had to kind of sand off some lumber strings and rough edges before painting. I used a medium fine sanding sponge and gave it a once over.It took three to four coats of white paint to cover the wood. It sucked up a lot of paint. The plastic on the windows was very good at masking during painting. Score the edges of the plastic where the paint goes over before removing the plastic. This prevented paint peel. This door is pretty heavy. You may need a helper.

Great classic door 🚪 for the $
Solid wood door ... did not experience any warping of unit as others mentioned in comments ... easy to install & easy to stain to preferred color.... I did need to cut off about an inch from the bottom using a regular circular electrical saw.... The downside is removing the plastic of 40 individual glass panels ... they don’t remove easily ... it took the most time & effort utilizing a good handled razor blade. When it was all prepped & done we were very happy for a French style door for a fraction of the cost paid from a door & window company. Took some work & skills but final result is very satisfactory. Best of luck 🙂

Nice, solid
Nice, solid, heavy door. We got the bifold door to add a permanent door for the basement. The area in which the door had to go is too narrow to a standard door. It would block the walk area completely if it were opened. So we opted for the bifold door and it works perfect. We added frosted contact paper to the windows so light comes on but you cannot see thru as our bedroom is down stairs. And we also bought a completely different knob to use on the door and not the wood one that came with it. We also added a pull tab on the back so we can close it easily when we go down stairs. Very happy with this purchase. We primed and painted both sides. Door comes with Windows already covered for easy paining. 5 stars!

We're Very Pleased With These
We installed these in two double-door openings (so four sets of these doors) in our dining room, to close off the dining room when not in use. I can't speak as to ease of installation, as a handyman installed them, but he seemed to have no trouble. I stained them myself (they have clear film over the glass so they're easy to stain/paint.) Some of the film was a little hard to get off, but after cutting around the glass-pane edges with a box-cutter, I sprayed the film with Windex, and that helped the film come off a little easier. The doors look great, and I think they're a good value for the price.

Looks so clean!
The door arrived promptly, was well packaged and in excellent condition. It was replacing an existing folding door so installation was a snap; it opens and closes smoothly. I love the wood color so I simply put on oil based transparent sealant and I have received numerous compliments from friends and family. Having so much glass makes a real difference.

Beautiful Door - Crappy packing
The doors arrived with no obvious damage to the shipping containers - which was actually pretty substantial. On opening, the doors looked really nice. Good quality, sturdy. Really nice, However on close inspection on both sets, all 4 doors (total) had broken panes. Where the packaging failed was, they put no support behind each pane of glass, so the glass was allowed to bow/break if any sort of sharp impact, like falling over on their sides, happened. We were heart broken because the doors looked really nice. Will have to buy from a big box store where we can ensure better delivery handling.Amazon should take this up with the manufacture as it is a flaw in the original packing...

Ugly etching? Or print on window corners that won’t come off
I used these doors to make mini French doors for my office. There were some imperfections on the window such as a missing corner piece on the molding on the top window. I didn’t mind that so much as when I pulled the protective covering off today and found a stamp or etching that wouldn’t come off with acetone? I’ll try apple cider vinegar maybe it’s just print lettering? In person you can see the etching lettering in the bottom corners. Another complaint is that I ordered doors to fit. Even as bifold doors the door measurements were off by an entire inch. To fix this I added an inside trim, and a bottom trim. It came out nicely and looks nice with paint. I’m more upset about the stupid water mark in the bottom left corner of all the glass panels I can’t imagine why it’s there. What I am happy about however is that the wood is raw and unfinished so it was perfect candidate for painting a stained wood look with paint instead of stain. I also like that it had enough hardware to hang as French doors, it comes with a total of 4 hinges. I also like how there wasn’t a pre drilled hole for the boring knob that came with it so I could add my own barn handles. My doors actually close without a magnetic catch or anything else due to adding the extra piece of trim. Overall, I’m satisfied just wish I could get the stupid watermark off in the bottom corners.
