Very nice seeds they germinated and the plants are very tolerant I transplanted them atleast 3 times and all the plants are doing good. Not sure about the color of the flowers as the plants are very slow to grow. But they are healthy.Update: I wasn't expecting it to flower this young but this is the color not exactly the same but very dark pink. I love it still. I must add that these are very hardy plants I don't know how many times I transferred them from one place to another, my toddler uprooted one of them and tore some of the leaves and I replanted it and still it is as good as new.Another update: looks like all the seeds are not same color as some are flowering dark pink and some are of dual color as described. See the updated pics. Very pretty

I had posted a previous review complaining that the color when the seedlings first bloomed was just the ordinary bright pink you could find at any Lowes, etc. Now 3 months in they are a beautiful wine color! Apparently it takes till full maturity, but oh worth the wait! The wine color emanates from the center and varies in intensity. Perfect for the overall garden color scheme with my yellow knockout roses. Keep getting compliments. The plants are robust, thick & healthy. Fertilized every 2 to 4 weeks.

First of all, I live in Nicaragua, I ordered these seeds and in a couple of days they were received at a parcel post in Miami and 3 weeks later I picked them up in Managua.Despite the shipping time, the seeds arrived alive and germinated well, at least 30 plants germinated from the seeds, however you must be careful not to expose them to high humidity, this variety will die if it floods, you can recover them from lack of irrigation but not you can recover from excess moisture.Regarding the colors, papaya and raspberry the flower corresponds to the one presented in the packaging, the black cherry that I obtained does not have the effect on the leaves that I expected, they are basically monochrome of a strong pink color, the papaya and raspberry colors do have the dark center as advertised in the vinca tatoo series.To germinate the seeds, I left them soaking in boiled water for 24 hours, after that I used an egg carton to germinate them and then put them in an intermediate container before transferring them to the ground, it was in the intermediate container where most of them died, you must choose a soil light with excellent drainage, but it is not the supplier's fault, they provide live seeds with a good germination rate, it is up to the grower to keep the plants alive after they germinate.With this purchase my collection of vincas ends (in Nicaragua we call them guajacas) due to our tropical climate these plants are perennial for us and it is not necessary to replant, just prune and fertilize.

Not close to the color ordered, but are beginning to bloom.....08/07/2025 seeing the color now started red but showing as pictured now beautiful

Purple color on the edge not very visible yet, but we shall see with more flowers blooming soon. Love the vibrant red color though.

Wish I had read reviews. Ordered 4 packets of different colors. Went by the book when planting seeds. Dark, let dry b4 watering. NOT ONE SEED has germinated!!! Apparently that is a VERY COMMON problem with seeds from this company. DO NOT ORDER
