Dimensions Stamped Cross Stitch 'Cute or What?' DIY Baby Quilt, 34" x 43"

My only complaint is that some of the stamped part was already starting to fade on my project when I got it. I am still completing it, and love everything else about it!

I purchased this for my future granddaughter. I have not yet started stitching it but the quality of the blanket is very nice, the stamped ink design is very clear and the thread colors are vibrant. Very happy with purchase.

Fortunately, I’m not a beginner, but my vision is not what it used to be. The directions are actually really good, but if you aren’t really experienced with embroidery, then this is definitely not the kit for you as it also has satin stitching, back stitching, stem stitching, cross stitching as well as French knots. They also state to use two plies of floss for back stitching which make it look dingy…I am using one ply instead which is working out so much better. You can still see the outline, but it’s a cleaner look. I just hope that the floss doesn’t shred when I go to wash it. I haven’t completed it yet, so we’ll see.

Adorable. I have been working on this for about 3 months now and really love the entire kit. The 'stamped' patter is not rubbing off at all as I work through all the stitching. The floss is high quality and the colors are beautiful. I am so happy that all the floss is separated and banded with color coded numbers and names. (Many of the colors are very similar and it would be difficult if they were not pre-sorted.) The instructions and pattern/color guide is easy to follow. I am a newbie so I appreciated the visual diagrams on how to do the 3 stitches. The quilt itself is bright white, soft and good quality. I dont anticipate any issues washing this when I am done.This is my first time doing a cross-stitch project and I will say I did not realize how much time it takes. They did such a nice job making a pattern with various shades of the same colors, which are created by threading 2 + 1 of different colored floss. The results are gorgeous and well work the time. In addition to the cross-stitching, every element's outline needs to be entirely back stitched, which takes quite a long time.Highly recommend the Dimensions kit.

The quilt is well made. This kit includes plenty of embroidery floss. I ended up with extra floss of every color remaining when I had finished the quilt.As is the case with every kit that I’ve purchased, the quilt is light weight. It’s a nice year round blanket. I decided to attach a layer of cotton batting and purple fabric to the back of the quilt to give it a little more weight and make it warmer for the northern climate.

Ordered this for a grand baby and I am having a wonderful time with it. The design on the blanket itself is so nice. I’ve worked in some where the ink has faded or when they printed the design onto the material it didn’t print evenly so you had to guess the pattern. Not so with this. Do be careful though. They don’t give you much thread. You have enough to get through the project but that’s it. No big mistakes.
