Quality Replacement
easy replacement. fit perfectly and works well. good quality and excellent price. buy a pair of the “outer tub spring pliers” to make the job the job much easier - it’s very difficult to get the spring back on around the tub seal without them.

Perfect pump replacement
Perfect—fit right in my LG washer-dryer combo. Works like new and saved me several hundred dollars in pro repair costs. DIY note—I installed myself and watching repair videos first saved the day. You need flexibility and patience, not strength. No leaks, exact fit, solid build quality.

Works better than it ever did before actually
No wonder the old one needed replaced. I didn't kno they collected gunk like that. This part works like a charm and I have my washer back. Not to mention for $35 since we did the work ourselves Maintenance guy would've charged $300 or more, no doubt. I'd show a pic of the part but it's already in. Our washer is WM9000HVA for reference My 14 year old replaced it!! Win win win.Ps. If you're getting the OE code often like we did, I'd say to go ahead and change this drain pump out. Now wondering if that's why my dishwasher always gets the OE on about every other loadI have fixed my stove and jus replaced my fridge. My washer just for repaired and my dishwasher still acting up. Needless to say, I'm going back to GE appliances (exactly what I bought for my new fridge). To only get a few years out of these appliances before they break is just ridiculous. Lg, I hope you read this review and hope I get more than a few years out of this part. So far so good and it was an easy DIY

Easy to replace using YouTube videos as guidance. Minimal tools needed to complete this task.
This pump fixed our LG front loader washer when it wouldn’t drain water. I used a YouTube video and this was a simple task that saved calling in a repair specialist. The pump had the same markings as the OEM pump from LG in 2007. Our old impeller had cracked and was slipping on the shaft. New pump is a fraction of the cost of a LG ‘branded’ pump, but looks and acts the same. I would recommend this as a replacement pump.

Get ur all the tools ready before u start!
Just hooked it up and it worked! Definitely a big solo job for me. Make sure u get the correct tools BEFORE u start lol and a screw system in place so u know where all the screws go bk on the washer. Also get the tool used for taking the tub ring off. It’s only $10 and even with it being a tad difficult it saved us a ton of time. Seemed like a great made pump. So far no leaks but haven’t done a full load yet. Only a quick wash to make sure it was draining! Aside for all the screws it was actually pretty simple to install. Hardest part is taking everything apart and keeping every screw organized. Lol

Very doable job, working washing machine after OE error
I had been receiving the dreaded OE error on my LE WM2010CW intermittently for some time. I was able to unplug the washer to reset it or clean out the filter and be back in business. However, the last time the error arose, I could not get the machine to finish a cycle and manually draining the machine has pretty much ruined my wood floor.Like others, I did some reasearch and determined the nature of the OE error--the drain pump had failed. Before ordering the part, I was confident there were no blockages and I watched several YouTube videos of others making this repair and was confident I could handle the task. The process of installing the pump after disconnecting and draining the machine is to remove the screws holding the cover of the machine, (located on the back of the unit), sufficiently removing the front control panel to get access to the screws holding on the front panel of the unit, removing the spring clamp securing the door gasket, the door sensor connector and eventually the pump. Washing machines aren't that complicated.I found my unit disassembled slightly differently from the YouTube videos. If a part wasn't coming off, locate what is keeping it on (usually a hidden screw) until everything is out of the way. The hoses and harnesses for the pump came off pretty easily and i and I used the opportunity while the unit open to clean out the inside, which had accumulated some grime and soap that I presume overflowed from the detergent drawer. The pump itself was easy to replace and overall, the process was pretty intuitive once I understood how to get inside.I was able to do the entire job with a Phillips screwdriver and a set of pliers. I was concerned about replacing the spring clamp that holds the gasket for the main door. It took a little bit of adjusting but forming rings with zip ties to pull the spring instead of the special LG pliers worked great for me. I also learned that the polarity of the motor connection doesn't matter when you replace the connecting wires (but I marked them when I took them off just in case).Delighted with the outcome. My washer works perfectly now. If you can use a screwdriver and are organized and methodical to keep track of the screws and the order of things, this is a doable job. Hardest part was I stacking and moving the washer out of the laundry room so I could access it. The actual dismantling, installation and reassembly took a little over an hour and it I had to do it a second time, I could probably handle the job in 40 minutes. Sure I saved at least $300 doing this myself and did not have to wait around for a service call.
