Great prepper item for those times when a dentist isn't around to help you.

Saw these recommended by a cruise YouTuber. He pointed out that cruise ships usually don’t have dentists and it can be hard to find one on short stops. Doubly true for trips like African safaris or any other remote adventures.While I’ve never needed mine one of our safari guides looked miserable one morning. Said they had a tooth ache wouldn’t be able to get looked at for several days. Gave them the kit and the next morning they were back to their cheery self. Said it worked wonders.

My son put a tooth through his lip at 2 a.m. on a cross country train. The oral antesteic worked beautifully to ease his pain and the oral gauze was good for staunching the bleeding. The conductor of the train was a bit suprised when I got this out and fixed up my little guy in a matter of minutes. He had thought for sure we would need to get off the train at the next stop for an ER. You never know when something like this will come in handy, especially if you travel a lot.I would have given it 5 stars but when the same so later knocked off a crown, there was not much in the kit to fix that. I that case, we kept the area clean and sought a dentist when we got home to remove the tiny remainder of baby tooth.

Good for a “go bag”

Real world trial. On a camping trip, our friend cracked a tooth and lost the filling. It was getting painful and he thought he was going to leave but his dentist could not get him in until the following Monday. This kit worked like a charm! Great temporary solution.

Most people don't consider dental emergencies when outfitting the first aid kit. However, if you are in the middle of nowhere and something happens to your teeth, this little kit provides some temporary relief until you can get to a dentist. It contains dental wax temporary filling, temporary cavity filling, cotton pellets, cotton rolls, dental floss and tooth picks for care and anbesol/orasol, benzocaine and a tea bag for pain relief. It all fits in a 5" square pouch along with a set of instructions. It's small enough to augment the first aid kit and is a must have in my opinion.

I cannot remember when I had a painful, dental emergency that did not start after-hours on a Friday. I feel good knowing I have these kits tucked away in my medicine cabinets. Well worth the real estate they take up!
