Comes in handy
Thus does telescope into a good size. I can strap it on my camera bag and it's out of the way. Nice and lightweight. Easy to use and telescope out. Feels nice and sturdy when extended. The foot is an awesome addition. It has a point for when using on softer ground like grass or turf. You can also unscrew it past the point and it becomes a plain rubber foot so you can use it on more solid ground, like cement or wood. Nice padded grip for comfort. Camera just screws right on the top. One thing I will say negative about it is you have to tilt the whole setup, and you can't just adjust the camera on the monopod, which made it a little awkward to shot at downward or upward angles, which I use it in football stands, which means I'm having to try to tilt it downwards a bunch. This definitely helps me to steady the camera so I could use longer shutter times. For happy with this purchase.

Robustly made and good price!
I bought this to replace a similar monopod that I inadvertently left behind on a shoot. To my surprise, this one is better built than the name-brand Vivitar it replaced. The friction-lock height adjusters are more robust and less prone to slippage. It cost less and extends higher by a couple of inches. A win-win! The top mounting screw is a standard 1/4"-20 thread. To this, I can screw on a 1-1/2" phenolic ball to the top and use this as a handy and compact walking stick. The base has a retractable metal point for "off-road" use. I'm delighted with my purchase.

Not bad for the money
Very light monopod. The locking clamps hold tight, and it compacts nicely. It does not feel quite as sturdy as the more expensive pro versions, but that's to be expected, and I didn't really notice any significant give, even when I had the full-frame with the 600 mm lens attached. Got good steady pix with it and with the quick detach, could use it to steady myself on the trail. I'm happy with it.

Easy to use, very supportive
Purchased for my son with special needs to continue his photography hobby. This allows stability and support he needs with the camera. Very pleased with the construction and design, easy to use and strong.

Do not buy!
I do not recommend this product. Cheap, but will not hold my heavy camera. I got what I paid for, unfortunately.

Some re-assembly may be necessary!!
Having to replace my monopod last minute in the middle of the biggest most important event of the year, i was happy when it came in, but an our into the event, connecting acrew came out of the monopod and was stuck in my lens. I was able to shoot the rest of the event, with my old monopod. I was able to fix it after the event with some super glue. But still a huge inconvenience in the middle of 14,000 people and my peers. Not sure how it will handle the rest of the week, but hoping it does ok, I have my old one on hand just in case as well as a pair of pliers to remove the screw if necessary. I would suggest anyone buying this product to get a pair of pliers and remove the screw and just add super glue and reinsert the screw just to make sure that you are not left in a bind.
