This bin is quite big but fits perfectly at the side of my kitchen cabinets.

Pretty decent, bought it for the small width but high capacity
The build quality is decent and overall it's quite good.Obviously this is for those that need a bin to fit into a small space. We use this in our kitchen to squeeze in next to the washing machine.After a few weeks everything seems okay. The mechanism is solid, it's easy to clean and the storage capacity is better than you think.The only downside we've come across is that the bin slides around, so when pressing the pedal it would slide around all over the place. I bought an anti-slip mat which eliminated this problem entirely, but I think they could have provided either some grips on the bottom or add more weight.Overall fairly happy with this :)EDIT - after about 12 months the pedal broke as did the pedal mechanism. I have fortified and fixed the mechanism, but there's no way to reattach the pedal again so we've had to remove the lid entirely :(

Lovely looking bin but having to repair it after a few weeks as the lid mechanism has become detached. Not happy and may return if we can't manage it..

Falling apart after less than a year
I bought two of these. They look great, but the pedal on one has already broken (I'm not the only person, judging by other reviews. Useless bit of plastic almost guaranteed to break after a certain amount of regular use. The soft-close on one bin stopped working so the bin didn't close properly. I had to take it out and go back to a clanging bin. All in all, not what you'd expect from a respected brand name.I'd send them back, but the hassle of sending back something this large is too much for me.Update: the pedals on both bins broke and I had to replace the bins after a year. Do not buy.

Good bin, narrow width, long depth, oblong, ideal
Bin good dimensions/oblong to fit in the alloted space. Looks good, pedal to lift lid works ok, has an inner plastic container with a handle which can be lifted out. Wanted a bin for the recycling paper/plastic/tins. Plastic container means I do not have to use a plastic bag inside the bin. Plus easy to clean.
