Great set of play plates and cups
These are great! Sturdy and a nice color. My daughter absolutely loves them and has been making “tea” since we bought them.

Simple play dish set
Our family loves these play dishes. My four year old son got these as a Christmas gift and they have seen a lot of use in the 3 months we've had them so far. They are sturdy and colorful without being garish, froofy, or branded. I wanted a gender neutral set, and this is just perfect. The corners of the plates are a nice touch (they are not sharp at all, and I let my 4m old "play" with them on occasion). The silverware is a good size, big enough to pretend with but not too big to look right next to the plates like some other sets. My son is 4 years old and they are a great size for him. I like that they are all one piece without a bunch of seams, so they are very easy to clean when needed. The different colors of the place settings are also nice. We find that kids like to choose what color they will use as they play, and it is easy to keep track of which cup/plate/spoon goes with which child after they begin. They remind me of the dish set I played with as a kid. I've washed these a few times by hand in warm soapy water, no troubles at all there. I'd buy them again in a second!

Fun, sturdy play cups and plates!
I bought these play dishes for my 3-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter. My daughter is not interested in them yet, but my son loves them. I'd say he plays with them the "right" way most of time. These are durable and can stand up to wear and tear. These are dishwasher safe (top rack). My son loves playing outside and we put these dishes in his playhouse outside. These dishes have been mud covered, jumped on, ran over with a kids tractor, you get my drift, they're tough! Perfect size as well, for kids. Great for pretend play too, which is good for learning! Great value for the price!

Great for a 2 year old to play with
Just the right size and amount for my granddaughter to play with. Price was right and since it was plastic hard to break. I would buy this item again.

Wonderful Product, Wonderful Price
We recently purchased this set of play dishes for my 1 year old. I love that they are durable, color coordinated and very inexpensive. These are not your everyday flimsy dishes. I wanted plastic dishes so they could be washed assuming that things might get messy on occasion. I am very glad I ordered this set of dishes from Learning Resources. At $10 for the set I am very satisfied - in fact I would have paid more money. I love the angles of the play dishes they add a bit of style since the dishes are solid colors. My little one loves to mix and match and has played with these daily since I purchased them! You cannot go wrong with this product I recommend for classrooms and playrooms alike!

Great Play Dishes Overall
Great dishes overall: fun, bright colors, and having a variety of colors makes the dishes conducive to being used for sorting and matching activities, not just play cooking. Some reviewers complain of the small size, but they're similarly sized to my toy tea set as a child, which wasn't meant to be large. The set works for us for putting a little play food on them, putting play dough food on them or being used for tea parties. We do have a few complaints though: (1) Many of the plates came with rough/imperfect edges. (2) The spoon edges are thinner (and thus, sharper) than they should be. They're not unmanageable, particularly if you instruct your child not to put them into the child's mouth, but we'd still prefer less sharp edges. (3) The "blue" is more of a purple-y blue than the picture depicts. Our child alternately interprets the color as "purple" and "blue". If you're creating dishes for children, in primary colors, then--for educational purposes--the colors should be true to the color name.
