Amazing Plastic Knife, Cuts Cheese Like It's Butter
I had this knife saved in my "save for later" cart for over a year. I was just sooooo skeptical of this knife. I hate wasting money on useless things and I was worried this knife would fall into that category. Well I got tired of slicing cold, hard cheddar cheese, extra sharp with regular knifes. My wrists would hurt and the palms of my hands would get sore.Well now that I've finally bought the darn thing and tried it, I regret not having done it sooner! It cuts in a straight line down, all I have to do is push a little. But once you start pushing down gently, it slices and feels as if you are slicing butter. It is still very surprising when I use it, I just can't get used to cutting cheese feeling so effortless.I tried cutting thin slices on my extra sharp cheddar (cold) and that also was very easy to do. I cut them so thin I made grilled cheese sandwiches on the pan and the cheese melted successfully in 2-3 minutes. This knife is not just for cheese, it works great on ice cream cakes too! Ice cream cakes are also on my "I don't like to cut" list and I tried this knife on it, it worked so well. It cut the cake clean and smooth. And straight. This knife is really just perfect, I can't praise it enough.Don't be skeptical like me and hesitate, just buy it and save yourself a lot of trouble slicing!

My favorite cheese knife for nice easy clean slices.
This is my favorite cheese knife for hard cheeses. I'm so surprised that it didn't rank higher! I have owned and used this for 5 years. Yes, there are tiny imperfections in the edge. But it is still the best knife I have for cleanly slicing another slice of cheese. I highly recommend this cheese knife, and BRAVO to the people you designed it and patented it's design!

Perfect blade!!
If you use brick cheese, small or large, this is the ONLY cheese knife to use!! WILL NOT STICK TO CHEESE!!! Plus use it to cut lettuce will not let unused portion brown! Cut onions, peppers, celery too

Don't try the cheaper knockoffs!
We bought this brand and loved it, then got a similar style from a different manufacturer. This knife is much better than the other, and at about $4 difference in price, worth buying up for the quality. Absolutely cuts through hard cheeses like a dream.

Excellent for softer cheeses.
I'm kind of a kitchen gadget collector, particularly knives. I've been experimenting with different knife styles for cutting various cheeses, and I'm particularly looking for a knife that will cut jack cheese without dragging. Cold "straight from the refrigerator" jack cheese is a challenge because it is both fairly stiff and clings to the the blade. I was looking for a good wire cheese cutter when I ran across "The Cheese Knife" and I couldn't resist. It works as intended, and is particularly good for softer cheeses like provolone or mozzarella. The company's demonstration video uses what appears to be a warm brick of cojack, and it does an impressive job of slicing any soft cheese, although careful technique is necessary to obtain uniformly thick slices. If you start at an angle, it does tend to continue on that angle. It will also cut stiffer (or colder) cheeses, but once a certain amount of pressure is required the blade begins to warp and the slices are not at all even. To be fair I have some of the same problem with thinner steel knives. For stiffer cheeses I find that my 7" Santoku gives a good balance between a thin enough blade to minimize drag and a stiff enough blade to give uniform slices. The manufacturer states that the knife was developed to slice Velveeta, and I expect that it does a superb job on something that soft. In all, it isn't going to be my primary cheese knife but it works great for soft and warm cheeses such as for an appetizer tray, and since it is plastic you don't have to worry about scratching the finish on the tray.

Best non metal cheese knife you can get!
Bought as a replacement for our original knife we had for years. Same great quality and works like a charm on all the cheeses we use. Perfect size, nice grip. Wont cut you but sure does cheese like a dream. This is a good value for anyone looking for a nonmetallic cheese knife.

Not Plastic Blade
It's a metal knife. The knife I received is not the knife in the images. I kinda like it so I will keep it. Not as good as the plastic cheese knife we had before this one

Cuts cheese and easy to use.
Cuts thin slices of hard to medium cheese. Easy wash in dishwasher. Not sharp. Very safe to use. Nice comfortable handle. Well made.
