Six jars is not enough
I first discovered this oil at a Hawaiian grocery in my old neighborhood, and it quickly became a household addiction. When I moved I couldn't find a local seller, but finally found it here, just before my withdrawal hit critical mass.Even though it tastes like something only sorcery could produce, it's essentially soybean oil infused with spicy chili oil. The texture and "crisp" come from roasted red red pepper seeds and just a few crunchy soybeans. Its flavor is warm, oily and salty, but not acidic or crazy hot.You can use it as a condiment on rice, eggs, noodles, or anything you eat on a plate or in a bowl. It's also great in stir fry, as a sauce base or, has been done at our house, spooned straight from the jar.The price, at around $15 per six pack, comes to less than $3 per unit. This is by far the best price on Amazon and, if you're like us, you'll want another jar on hand as soon as you empty one.

Better than Fly by Jing
I love Fly by Jing, but when I saw this brand was so much cheaper, I tried it. It did not disappoint! I put it on almost everything! It works with Asian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, and American food. It is convenient for family dinners since each person can add as much heat (or as little) as they want. The heat and the crunch together are superb!

Tastes good but I won't buy it again with a 50% increase in price
I bought this in March of this year for 25 bucks it's now $37.50! Although I like it I'm not going to buy it again at that rip off price!I just ordered the same thing from Walmart $23.68! Makes me wonder why I keep prime!

You need this!
We love this stuff and go through a couple jars a month. The crunchy texture is an awesome addition to just about everything, and the heat is just right for us. This pack is just as good as the single jar I had previously ordered and is much more affordable. Will continue to purchase.

Why did it take so long for me to try this?
This is the easiest "food hack" ever. You can get that amazing flavor that you get in a good Szechwan restaurant in just about any dish, just by adding a spoonful of this. (I like to add some freeze-dried garlic powder, roasted sesame seeds, and chopped green onion too, when I'm feeling energetic). The biggest challenge is that there are many different chili oils and it might take some yummy experimenting to find your favorite. This is one of the best I've found so far.Do read the labels carefully. This brand has two similar packages that I've tried: "Spicy Chili Crisp" and also "Fried Chili in oil". I'm not sure which one I prefer, they are both awesome. But the second one contains peanuts and also a little salt, and contains more of the "Szechwan pepper" flavor. These are only mildly hot, but some kinds of chili oil are VERY hot, so do read the reviews carefully.

WRONG PRODUCT DELIVIERED DESPITE ASKING QUESTION 3 TIMES WTH SELLER ANSWERING
if you look at Ricky's review on July, 2018, there are 2 pictures of Lo Gan Ma''s spicy chili crisp. One is the bottle that is pictured for sale with picture of Lo gan Ma, underneath are Chinese characters, ( I am also chinese, can read limited Chinese characters but cannot do it on computers ) and to the left below, are small English characters spicy chili crisp. The picture depicted for sale and what the seller agrees is different. It has the same picture of Lo Gab Ma, but below it large English characters on the center SPICY CHILI CRISP . They are not the same The one that has Chinese characters with the small spicy chili crisp has more ash and gives tingling sensation to the tongue, similar to what one experience when one eats Szechuan peppercorn\I ought to return this but have no time to go to Asian store which is 60 miles away from my home so I have to settle for this .
