OxiClean Color Boost Laundry Brightener and Stain Remover Liquid Free, 45 fl oz

This is a highly effective and wonderful household helper. It gives that extra punch of clean to our laundry, which is done in hard water. It does not hurt the clothes like chlorine reached tends to do so we use it on our white laundry as well. Of course it keeps our colored clothes, bright and odor and stain free. You might have to rub it directly into the stain on a tougher stains, but it cleans. They were running the mail every day without having to do pre-treating!

Have also reviewed this before. Helps when you need a little extra or to pretreat an area. Also helps the smell of wet dog, dog towels. A little goes a long way.

**UPDATE April 2025: once again the bottle leaked. The lid was taped but loose, product was leaking a little so that that tape came loose and had leaked product into the plastic bag and out of that into the shipping box. Can they PLEASE tighten the cap before shipping? **UPDATE July 2023: once again the product came with a loose lid and had leaked out of the jug, soaking the box and items that were also in the box. The lid could have been screwed tighter before placing the tape on, as I was able to tighten. Tape really wasn’t doing anything as it had come loose due to leaking liquid. Sure wish I could buy this locally as ordering online seems to be such a mess.PRO: Love this for laundry additive that can get give a boost to stain cleaning. Need unscented and can only seem to find on Amazon.CON: Every time I order it the lid is not screwed on tight and it leaks out of the bag they put it in, into the cardboard box!**Update**And it happened AGAIN! Can they please screw the lid tight when applying the tape to the lid? At least the liquid stayed in the plastic this time.

Good stuff. This is the first time I've ordered it from Amazon. I've read that the bottle leaks in shipment. It's true. The cap is on tight, but squeezing the bottle with the lid on tight results in bubbles. I have ordered are fare amount of liquids from Amazon. Leakage is a rare event.

I actually bought this by accident, thinking it was the laundry detergent!Once I got it, I thought "Now what am I going to do with this?" I thought the bottle was pretty tiny, that I would go through it very quickly, and never make that mistake again.Normally when I wash my colors, I start the water on warm so that my powdered Oxiclean can dissolve with my liquid detergent before turning the temp back to cold and putting the clothes in. I had found that the powder does not dissolve in cold water and would make a mess on my colored towels and T-shirts, clinging in big white clumps to my just-washed colored clothes.I soon realized that I could start filling my washer with cold water (no more accidentally forgetting to turn it back to cold!), put in a splash of this stuff along with my liquid detergent, and be done with it!I didn't have to deal with spilling the powder down the crevice between my washer and dryer anymore, or the random powder that somehow finds its way out of the box that sits on my dryer and gets mashed up underneath the box. I just had a small bottle. I don't even use as much as the guide says to use, and my colors still get cleaner than ever. With zero white clumps on my clothes.I know that I sound like a commercial! I don't have the energy to be on an informercial, ha ha, but I'm just telling it like I experienced it. When my bottle runs out, I'm going to get more for sure.I will say that I am keeping my powder for stubborn stains on whites, but the box has lost its prominent spot on the dryer, and my laundry room is much cleaner - as well as my loads of colors!

Or perfumed detergent. Not good for them. I use this for all my dogs bedding and towels and my bedding as he sleeps with me on and in my bed. Be kind to your pooch.
