Good, but instructions could be improved
Edit: My review remains, but a word of warning to anyone looking to buy: I bought at £34.99 and they now seem to have DOUBLED in price. At the current £69.99 I would be reviewing the product as EXPENSIVE and reducing my star rating to 2 stars As nice as these are, they're not worth £70!!!I needed to replace two outside lights, one of which had failed a lot sooner than it should, but was of the non-replaceable bulb type.I chose these, mainly because they were the least offensive style that took a replaceable bulb.It isn't clear that you just unscrew the top section (the shade) off the bottom section to fit the bulb, it looks like you have to remove the three "nuts and bolts", but you do not. Instructions to this effect would have been nice and I might not have slightly damaged the steel if the instructions were present, but perhaps they fell out of the box at some point as both boxes had fallen apart. The only instructions I got were in four languages, none of which I speak, and only in one of the boxes.Fitting was easy, just a case of Live, Neutral and Earth.A couple of points to correct on other reviews left:1 - IP44 is fine for outdoor lights, IPx4 is "splashproof' which is enough for this style of outdoor lights, it just means you can't aim the hose pipe at them, but why would you do that? It's enough to keep them dry in the rain, which is the point.2 - They do fit a standard E27 bulb, no need for anything special. I fitted Tapo L530E Smart Bulbs so I can control the lights from anywhere. So overall 4 stars for the lack of instructions, and the boxes that had fallen apart.

Lights do as expected and look good.
Purchased these lights to replace existing on top of a pair of garden balustrade pillars. The lights work well and give more than enough light. However On the same order were two E27 11W bulbs as stated, only to find you can only use stick bulbs with this light, so beware when ordering bulbs. I found the fixings to be adequate but two of the supplied stainless steel screws supplied had faulty heads so had to use non stainless as I had already started the install. Overall am very pleased with the look and performance of the lights. But for the couple of niggles I would give 5 stars as the lights do as expected.

Not waterproof for outdoor use
My review is more of a question to the seller. These fittings are for outdoor use although rated at only IP44.Outdoor lights require to be IP65 rated to be fully waterproof! These lights are very nice looking indeed but even though they have a rubber seal, condensation stillbuilds up inside the fitting then drops down on to the E27 metal threads causing them to rust. I used LED flame lamps with these lights and the water has caused one to blow! At a cost of £7 a lamp they’re not cheap to replace either. All 5 of my fittings are the same and after every rainfall I have to unscrew the heads, pour out the water and dry of the lamps and connections. Not good at all for outdoor use!I don’t know what the answer is to preventing the condensation so if the seller can perhaps give me an answer that would be appreciated!

Good fitting
I bought this to match existing bollards on my new house. The fitting is fairly flimsy but does everything it should and looks well.I was replacing existing, which had been damaged by lawnmower or vehicles. It requires two screws into a base (eg concrete found or slab), which are inserted throught the bottom cover ring, which is a thin moulding and can distort if post is impacted. I would recommend packing the bottom ring with mortar or timber, and ensuring it is carefully sited to protect it from impact.

Level the site first.
This replaced taller bollard lights.Nice and bright with no glare.Easy fitting.I did slieve the fixing screws so as not to distort the base.Philips/posidrive screws not too robust for driving in at an angle.Would still recommend this product, really nice effect. 👌
