Drive Medical Deluxe Full Length Hospital Bed Side Rails, Brown Vein

Works well for my adult son's hospital bed.

If your loved one needs sturdy rails for a hospital bed, these are it. I tried the T looking ones--they wiggled a bit which would not work for my grandmother. These rails, however, are solid and even easier to install.

Took parts off the other broken Set tried to put them together to make one good set, which failed have gorilla tape and rope holding one side together terrible product. This is a third set in a year and a half of dried medical handrail plastic knobs pop off the bar easily, the tension bars apart

My mom has Alzheimer's and sometimes wants to wander at night. In addition, she broke her hip and had hip replacement surgery two months ago. The hospital bed my mom had came with short bed rails that were not effectively meeting her needs. These new bed rails have worked very well keeping her safely in bed at night. Since they are adjustable, at night we expand them to their full length. They are relatively easy to raise and lower with pull out buttons on each end of the rail. They are sturdy as well since they latch on to the hospital bed frame and have a support that runs under the mattress. Thankfully, mom has recovered from hip surgery and can walk pretty well using a walker. These bed rails have been a great help!

These rails are great. I own an assisted living facility, so I order a lot.For some reason, this specific rails gets shipped in a box that always gets trashed, broken.All our rails came in broken pieces...

Had to create a way to connect to bed other than built in one.

I returned this item because we were given a set by my mothers insurance that was exactly the same. Unfortunately, this is not a good item. My mom occasionally gets her leg stuck in the rails which is very dangerous. Plus I feel like these rails are really low so if I were to put any extra padding on the mattress these would be useless.They are easy to assemble and to lift up and down but it would be better to have a solid piece more like what the hospitals have attached to their beds
