The Things We Cannot Say: A WWII Historical Fiction Novel Paperback – March 19, 2019

Amazing story!!!! The descriptions & characters were fantastic. Hard to start another book. So heartfelt, made me cry. Also a good mystery embedded in the story. I definitely plan to read more of her books!!!! Five Stars plus!

This was a poignant and touching book. Based on historical events that highlighted horrors of war but also the resilience, courage and humanity that existed within that horror. Loved the book

As a Jew sometimes I get tired of all the stories, the horror of the 2nd WW….WE should never tire of it, honoring those hero’s, those ordinary citizens of the world who were part of it, the will to live, to fight the fight to say NO to cruelty, oppression and hate!

What an incredibly moving story. So well told. My mind keeps wandering to points in the story that really struck me. I don’t know if we are made like that anymore…

Well written, moving, and a great mystery all combined. The story also gives a very sad, insightful look at not only Poland's struggle, but the struggles for survival families had to endure.

I've read so many books about World War II over the years, each one relating different aspects of the countless lives that were affected by it. Kelly Rimmer's novel not only revealed the intricacies of two family's shared stories, but also provided valuable life lessons for those of us who look into this challenging and devastating period in history, seeking to be better and more compassionate people in the world we live in today. Thank you, Kelly, for all of your efforts in bringing to us this remarkable story.

This was a ready good book. It was told in 2 different scenarios. I liked all of the characters.Now I want a sequel.

I enjoyed this book and sent it to a friend. I became a bit frustrated with the pace of the story. It was a bit drawn out.
