When the box showed up it said milk chocolate macadamia nuts and I had ordered dark chocolate, I was so disappointed that I didn't even unpack it for a few weeks and I wrote a negative review.. I decided to unbox them before I threw them away and it's a good thing I did. It turned out to be the dark chocolate macadamia nuts I had ordered, just the box was wrong. I got exactly what I ordered.

Always a great gift anytime and also a reminder to my best friend who went to Hawaii with me.

I buy a large supply of milk chocolate Alohamacs every year around Christmas, from Costco. We keep them refrigerated and enjoy them throughout the year. I am a dark chocolate fan but had not seen dark chocolate available, so when I found them online, I of course ordered 2 boxes, thinking they would be even better than the milk chocolate variety. As I opened the first box, I was disappointed to see discoloration and the nuts visible from probable melting. I took a chance and tried one of them, but to me, it tasted old and I spit it out. I checked the other Alohamacs I had ordered, which were milk chocolate, and they tasted good, just like I was used to from Costco. When I went online to return or exchange the dark chocolate ones, I learned they are NOT AVAILABLE FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE! The condition of the product did not result from any shipping or handling error on my part, so I would not refer anyone to try these.

However, arrived soft and stuck to container.These are fabulous, oh so yummy dark chocolate covered macadamias although not presentable as gift thanks to lack of effective packing materials.

These dark chocolate covered macadamias are wonderful. The dark chocolate has a smooth texture and tastes perfect with the nuts. The macadamias are always fresh and taste wonderful. I have purchased these many times.

Super yummy! Liked the milk chocolate covered macadamia nuts but the dark chocolate is a special treat! Little pricey but so good!
