Elevates my work
I really enjoyed using this clay. It has better elasticity than a lot of the other ones that I’ve tried. It fires to be lighter weight than other stoneware that I’ve tried as well. I would consider myself intermediate, but this clay has really elevated my work. I like the name “Dover” on the bag. Shipping was perfect.

Very smooth
The media could not be loaded. This clay has been lovely to work with. It arrived on time and when I received it, it was in ready to use condition and I was able to get started immediately. I like to finish my pieces with a smooth river stone and it leaves a beautiful finish. I have not fired this yet so I can speak to how to does after firing but throwing and using the clay was a great experience.

This clay is impressive. It throws close to porcelain, After ordering from other companies, I have thrown away more than saved. I was happy with this clay, easy to work with and the color takes the glaze well. I plan on ordering more. Very happy with my purchase.

This clay is gorgeous: so easy to work with and create handbuilt sculptures
This clay has a nice texture and is super easy to work and clean up. Currently I am hand building heads and busts. The clay is just the right consistency and not messy or sticky. My hands do not tire even though I am creating a larger-than-life size head/ bust sculpture (as it will shrink 10 to 15% in the kiln when fired). I highly recommend it.

Not 50 pounds of clay
I'm the type that instantly wants to know if I really got 50 pounds of clay. Unopened, it was only 46lbs when I put it on my scale. I would think it better to be over 50 than under, so as a company, if you know you're going to lose moisture and possibly weight in your clay, then over deliver. When I paid for 50 pounds, I expected 50 pounds, so a more pleasant surprise would've been seeing a scale say 54 than 46...The clay is very soft, softer than I'm used to throwing with. We'll see how it goes. If impressed, I'll update.
