i bought this for my elderly parent who cant swallow pills anymore. It works easily and quickly. I just mix the powder into applesauce and it goes down without a problem.

We grind pills for our dogs and mix them in their noms. We had a grinder just like this one and it has lasted for years with daily use but finally gave it up. After reading the feedback, I was hesitant to buy it again and ended up with three other duds. When we got this one, it is a tiny bit different...the teeth don't meet together completely....but it still grinds exactly as before. There are a few tiny chunks but most of the pills are powdered. Also, we like that it doesn't need to be turned several times to screw it on & off. If you want 100% powder, then get an electric grinder. This one does the job just fine for us...and it can handle large pills. The grinders with the smooth mechanism can't handle large pills at all.

Easy to crush pills. Make sure it's completely dry before using it other wise your pills will get stuck on the grids.

The 2 surfaces did not come together well and therefore, did not adequately crush the pill. Will be returning.

As a pill crusher, it works well. However if you’re looking for a product that leaves only powder, this and others of this type will leave small chunks of pill. For most applications I’m sure that is ok. My mother who has dementia tends to chew the pill chunks that are mixed with apple sauce or yogurt. If it was reduced to powder, I’m sure she would just swallow the entire spoonful. Again not a huge reason not to purchase.

Best pill crusher I’ve ever used! Can crush large dog pills too.

Does what is needed

I usually have a hard time taking pills and this has been a game changer for me. I have tried all kinds and I always come back to this one. The BEST and it's a good price!
