SPLATYPUS!
SPLATYPUS!I got one as a little joke gift for my in-laws who have everything. Turns out everyone needs one! Since then, everyone has got one for their birthday gift. It could be a boring tiny spatula, instead it's a funky design which makes it more appealing.A tiny spatula which is so so useful for getting out the last bits of jam or mustard or pesto from jars. It's really effective and so easy to use.We only wash by hand because I find silicone takes on the chemically taste in the dishwasher. The yellow bit comes off the end so that is easier to clean.Overall, I don't think a kitchen should be without a splatypus and everyone should get one!

A great bit of fun, that's also functional
I bought a pair of Splatypuses recently, one each for my mum and me. They're a great bit of fun, but also very functional. I've not had cause to use mine yet as I haven't reached the bottom of a jar of anything, but mum's used hers a few times and says it's great. The "tongue" is nice and sturdy, but flexible enough to move round in a circular jar.I got these on offer (I think it was a lightning offer on one and a "bulk-buy"/% offer when you buy two) so ended up paying in the region of £10 each for them. A bit more than I'd normally spend, when I know I can buy a thin spatula/scraper type thing for less, but they seem to be very good quality and I don't mind paying a little extra for the fun design.

Ideal for the last of the jar!
Bought after seeing on social media and perfect little spoon for emptying the last of they difficult to spots in a jar. Easy to use and seems fairly robust.

Nice little utensil
Cool looking jar scraper/butter spreader. My only issue is it didn't come in the box that’s featured in the picture. Small point but just wondered why ? Good for getting into narrow jars etc ; . Looks good and does what it says.

bringing colour in the sourdough kitchen
Fun and robust. Great at mixing my sourdough starter. Love the design and it's small enough to get in all the corners of the jar.

Very useful and sturdy
Even after the initial novelty wears off, the design is still great, as it's very sturdy and handles quite well. Can be awkward for tall bottles with narrow opening though, due to the size and the design between blade and handle.

Waste not want not
Excellent for all types of jars and tubs. Just need to get the knack of scraping the right way as it's (obviously) more flexible than a knife

Handle harder than anticipated
Thought the whole product would have the soft touch of silicone throughout like some others I have. Sadly the splaty bit is hard plastic.
