I've been drinking matcha for the past ten years and if you're seeking affordable quality this is the matcha for you. It frothes up lovely and holds it's consistency and texture. Flavour wise it's sweet and grassy with low bitterness this is provided your water temperature is correct (70-80 degrees) highly recommend. I will continue this one to be my day to day matcha!

Delivery was super...initially told package expected at 1pm but arrived at 9.30am.I was skeptical at first glance...the packaging leaves much to be desired it didn’t scream quality.However, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package...there was a beautiful bright green, super fine powder with the sweetest smell all great signs of a high grade matcha.Taste wise, this brand is subtle more gentle on the palate no bitterness at all...could be preferred by those who don't like their mathca to be bitter or those who use matcha for culinary purposes.I personally prefer my matcha with stronger flavours, I enjoy the sharp bitter notes.As a personal preference, I don't use milk or sweetners of any kind in my matcha so unfortunately I cannot comment on how those would affect the flavour.Definetly worth spending £23.I am satisfied, other than the appearance of the packaging I cannot find any other faults

Easy to use fine powder that dissolves well in the water. Nice tasting ( not too bitter ) . Good amount for the price and I definitely have more energy after drinking it . Works with warm water of cold drinks such a milk.

Lovely smell, colour and taste. Froths up easily. Just hope this supplier can maintain this quality.

This is really high quality - organic ceremonial matcha tea.Taste nice very smooth taste, blends well,no remaining granules at the bottom of cup.1 thing i will say it only fills a quarter of the packet, best to reduce the packaging as it helps the environment and also company own pocket.Great green matcha tea

It's exactly as is described. Vibrant green colour and excellent taste. I compared it to the premium variety and my god is the difference extreme. The only thing I would say is it might not froth at the top with bubbles as desired, but I think the trade-off is reasonable considering the price point for this one. There are more higher quality ceremonial grade matcha from Japan obviously, but I would also recommend this for your average daily matcha-craze fix as per affordability goes.

True ceremonial quality matcha with a vibrant green colour. Has the tendency to form little clumps when I pour my hot water on to it (not sure if this has to do with the level of humidity in the container?), which the brand I was using previously did not do, but it’s nothing a good matcha whisk can’t handle. Happy I purchased it when the other brand I was using went out of stock.
