No tweaks were needed, excellent quality
Top notch quality neck for a great price. Right out of the box the fret ends are smooth, the frets are level. The neck profile is instantly comfortable and feels great. Will definitely order one again when needed. Just drop in your tuners and a nut and you're ready to rock!

Great neck
Yes I put it on a tele- but it's custom so it doesn't matter. Be prepared to either file the nut or replace it with some tusq. Frets are great, Truss rod adjusts pretty quick as well, and I rarely adjust it. I've got a graphtec nut with graphtec string trees (you must drill them also), steel & titanium alloy saddles, in combo with the new neck, the tone is very bright but also has deep clarity.

Quality piece, but pricey
I was able to get an Amazon warehouse return for below the current $299 price tag- it was advertised as “Like New,” but probably should’ve been rated one step below, as “Very Good,” as it was showing a bit of wear from the previous customer’s installation, and was missing the nut.The neck itself is gorgeous, pictures can’t really do wood detailing and finishing justice- it stands out very well amongst my other Fender Strats.Playability-wise, the glossy finish on the fretboard feels like it might take a while to properly break in, but the density and resonance it gives back makes it worth it.Fender is now offering roasted maple necks on some of their Squier guitars; for maybe $100 more than the price of this neck alone, you can get a whole guitar with one already on it- so if you’re really curious, I’d probably recommend going that route to give roasted maple a try.If you already know you love this fit and finishing on a neck, and have a guitar that could use a new one, this is a pretty good investment, if you’re planning on keeping that instrument around for the long haul.

Fantastic neck
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The finish and fret dressing is excellent. I will definitely purchase another on my next build.

Amazing Neck
Great guitar neck with a smooth feel. I just love 12” radius. I’m so happy with this purchase!

Sounds… like plastic.
Construction is fine on these necks, but they have a very specific sound to them that I’ve come to dislike quite a bit. I feel it’s probably from the enormous amount of polyurethane used all over the thing. Sounds “glassy,” “honky,” “cold,” “sterile.” I have one of these Mexican necks on a Tele and on a Strat of mine as well. Same exact terrible tone coming from both guitars. I stopped playing both guitars entirely, preferring my Gibsons instead. Now that I’ve replaced the neck on my Tele with something orders of magnitude better, I thought I’d drop by here and warn you off, whoever you are. Go to Warmoth or Allparts instead. Just don’t buy one of these. They’re too expensive and they sound like trash. You’re only paying for a logo.
