I have never had kitchen scissors before! I limped along using sewing scissors or other general use scissors but I wanted something stronger and only to be used in the kitchen. I’ve only had this scissors for a few days but it is wonderful! I’m looking forward to years of great service from them as durable, good quality scissors! Currently, like all new scissors, they are tight and thankfully my hands are able to work them. Over time, they will loosen and be easier! The handles provide great leverage and are easier to grip than my other scissors were! I am so happy to make my cooking easier with proper tools that function as I need them to! I’m only sorry it took so long to treat myself to them!! They work just as the description said!

I now own two pairs of these (although both are “Oxo Good Grips” brand, which Amazon may have substituted, since they seem essentially the same). The first pair has remained sharp for so long and I use them so often that I decided a new pair was a good buy, since I’ve tossed at least 2 cheaper, fixed-pivot models. They're comfortable to grip, even cutting the toughest blister packs (batteries, “recloseable” packaging, etc.) and make neat work of cellophane packaging that is otherwise too fragile to reuse. Ease of cleaning: they come apart easily, but not accidentally, and look brand new when they emerge from the dishwasher. No kitchen should be without at least one pair.

I bought the KitchenAid All-Purpose Kitchen Shears, and I can honestly say they’re a game-changer in the kitchen. They cut through everything — meat, vegetables, packaging — with ease, unlike regular scissors that struggle or bend.The grip is comfortable, the blades are sharp and precise, and they feel very sturdy and well-made. KitchenAid products are a bit more expensive than other brands but that is because they are made so much more durable. This is my second pair of KitchenAid kitchen scissors only because I dropped the first set behind my stove. (Don't ask, it's a long story) These scissors stay sharp, are easy to use, constructed to last a lifetime, and you can take them apart for easy cleaning. They are made with stainless steel so there is no rusting. I use them almost daily to open food packages, snip herbs, they even will cut through small chicken bones. They can be washed in a dishwasher with your other utensils. These scissors come with a blade cover for safe storage. I highly recommend these KitchenAid kitchen scissors.

Great scissors! Even though the handle has two places the same size for your fingers to open them, they are comfortable and light. I hope they can get through the dishwasher without rusting, but until then they are just what I need. Perfect all around for opening packages, cutting herbs, and super sharp.

The kitchen shears we were using before were extremely dull (to the point they wouldn't cut open a chip bag). We got these ones because we've used the KitchenAid brand in the past and have found them to be reliable. These particular shears are slightly larger than the ones we had been using, but not too large where they are difficult to use. They cut smoothly and effortlessly and I love that they come with a guard.

I replaced some scissors from Scotch brand. Wow! These are great! They don’t fold plastic over between the blades when cutting, Slice through paper quickly. I bought a second pair for the RV.

These are great kitchen scissors. I use them for cutting chicken and it cuts so easy! They’re super sharp so watch out, I cut myself simply cleaning them (stupid on my part not the scissors fault!)
