Does this product have support in the back?

The back has wood framing the metal corrugated part plus 2 vertical wood supports behind the metal. Very sturdy. Works GREAT!

I don't rightly know for shizzle where it's made but I'd bet my last nickel its made in China. I can tell you one thang for shizzle is i make some fine percussive sounds with it. Those sounds are made in my recordings studio. I like it for that reason. I don't worsh my clothes with it.
