Grade-A Teak Wood Luxurious Arm / Captain Dining Chair [Model: Giva] #WHDCARGV

The chairs were not easy to assemble. WE had to re-drill every hole. The small print on the assembly directions say you may have to drill new holes. Really? Every hole is not ok.I placed an order on Amazon. Six teak chairs and paid for delivery. I received a call from UPS Freight and was told that my order was going to be delivered to my home on Friday morning between 8am and noon and that I had to sign for the order or leave a note on the door. We were home all morning and no one came to the door. We never signed for anything. Well the chairs were dropped off at the top of our driveway at our neighbors home. This is 250 yards from our home. We didn't sign anything. They are on a big palate. My husband and I are both in our 70s. How are we to get the chairs down the driveway to our home?At 7 pm that evening our doorbell rang and there was an angry UPS driver who said he didn't have to bring the chairs down to our house that it was "curbside" delivery. No one ever told us that and if they did we would not have ordered them. So the driver left and the chairs were at the top of our neighbors driveway sitting in the rain for two days. We had to hire someone to actually deliver the chairs even though we paid for delivery.When I contacted the seller Wholesale Teak Furniture I received a very nasty email saying I didn't read the fine print.Where was that information when I placed the order on Amazon? Delivery should mean exactly that not 250 yards from our home.

Beautiful! Very pleased. Fit together perfectly.Instructions suggest 1/4" drill bit to clean up dowel holes - This is too big - I suggest not using drill at all.Very easy to put together; no metal hardware; just tap in the dowels.I did use include glue, but not required.We matched these with the Amazonia Teak Maliana Teak Rectangular Dining Table. Looked perfect together, and this made set very inexpensive.

Quality is very good, but be careful when buying if you're trying to match other teak chairs. Ours from Bali that are the ones in the Smith & Hawkin and Frontgate catalogues. These are smaller.Great price, though, and I like the smaller size. They go under tables more easily.

Chairs good quality and pretty shape. Required oiling with wood oil for best finish. One chair arrived without wooden pegs required for assembly!
