When crimped with a Simply45 Pro tool, they give zero issues.Stopped testing for continuity a long time ago after using pass-throughs and 49/50 devices fire right on.The other 1/50 is usually a pinched wire or something not ending related. Seeing the wire color sequence before crimping gives you instant confirmation. Plus, you get to push the coat deep inside the shoe every time, making every termination look professional.It's a time saving strategy using pass-throughs.

this connector is truly the only connector that actually works smoothly with 23AWG cat 6 cable . i purchased multiple connector that indicate large diameter and none of them work .i highly recommend this connector

I have wasted loads of time on these only to have pair 1,2 consistently fail. I went to the Klein connectors and every one passes after first crimp. I have a Klein cable tester I almost threw away, but after failing on a SouthWire AND Fluke testers I knew these connectors have easily wasted a week’s worth of my time re-crimping several cables. I still have an almost full jar because I bought these again thinking I just had a bad batch. I would fight someone that tried to sell me these again. 🤬And they are not even that much cheaper than the reliable Klein connectors

These are inconsistent at best. Let me start by saying that I am not a newb to using RJ45 pass through connectors. I purchased these because the price was good and I had never experienced any major problems with RJ45 connectors.... UNTIL NOW! It seems like every other connector had a bad pin connection point. Unfortunately, I was chasing ghosts until I figured this out by using a known good connector brand. Save yourself the time of chasing ghosts and choose another brand.Known good brand = Cable Matters
