I will forever and ever grow coleus’s from seeds now
I will be the first to say this. I reads hundreds and hundreds of reviews. I wrote one when I first bought these. But it was like a week and a half into the process.Firstly I will say. Every single pack sprouted Atleast 90-100% of the seeds. I had no idea starting off this would happen.I am going to break down what I did for your success. I live in Washington State so we can have frost until early May. I started my coleus’s in the end of February to begin with. I put them on a big plastic folding table. Because my house gets cold at night I bought seedling heat pads and also grow lamps. They were extremely cheap. Maybe $15 for every set of two seedling pads. I bought 6 total. Then the heat lamps were around $23 on sale. There are two different common style. One metal and one metal that is black. The black ones with 4 lights work wayyyyyy better. For my own mental health I had to wear gloves to put the seeds on the soil. These seeds are like a fleck of pepper and when damp they stick to everything. I read people say on forums to soak the seeds before planting. That is completely not necessary.I kept the soil damp. Coleus’s love love love water. And if you don’t feel like watering them in the summer every day when it’s hot then they are not the plant for you. I also kept the cover on them until they grew and knocked their covers off. They sprouted in about 5 days. They are very delicate at first but are extremely fast growers.Coleus’s are extremely hearty plants. They last one year but you can cut a portion off and winter it over as a house plant. The package does say it’s an assortment of varieties. I am telling you this because I have raised coleus’s for over 20 years. I grew plants that are extremely rare from these seeds. So rare I have seen pictures of them but never seen one in person until now.I ordered 5 packages total. I bought 1 bag of miracle grow soil. 6 heat pads= 45. 3 heat lamps for $69. I bought the seedling pods plastic containers that you put your own soil in and can be reused over and over. I am so excited that next year and years to come all I will need to do is buy more seeds and soil.If you want to grow something easy that is a sure thing then I HIGHLY SUGGEST these seeds as an incredible purchase.

Great item!
I planted these just over a month ago, about 5 weeks, and oh my goodness, have they exploded in my planter. The seeds are quite small so I just kind of put some in the starter tray. I have a ton of them coming up and they just keep getting bigger and bigger as the days go by. I can't wait to plant them in the front of my house and see what they turn into once full grown!! Would definitely recommend and will most definitely purchase again! This picture was taken just a week ago and this is about 4 weeks after planting the seeds.

Excellent germination rate
I always plant a few in each pod to ensure I get something. After sprouting, I use an eye dropper to water. There is one obvious different variety that I can tell from a baby sprout but I was a bit too heavy handed with the dropper. Can't wait to see the rest show a variety.

Didn’t produce very many plants
First time growing these from seeds. Out of 400 seed I got a couple of dozen plants. Colors are beautiful. I love them. I just thought it would have produced more plants.

Not as varied as shown
Strong healthy plants that require lots of water. All were the same save one with white blooms.

Don't burry coleus
These so far popped up quickly and I see a lot of them already I think the reviews on these are because people plant the seeds under soil. These need light they prefer to be set on top and misted until you see sprouts I'm excited to see the colors.

Beautiful
I have a habit of not reading through directions. I may or may not have ended up with TOO MANY beautiful coleus! 🤣Fast germination and keep getting more stunning as I pot them up to larger pots. I would recommend and are spectacular if grown correctly.
