You've all seen the Santa Ana winds by now and their destruction. Well I had a smaller 8 spined patio umbrella. One of the pockets got ripped in one of the storms that spread the fires. This replacement came fast and was the right size, most importantly. Very well made. Great color. Easy to put on too.

You can't go wrong for the price and the quality of the fabric. Perfect fit and easy to use. Due to our extremely hot & harsh summers, I don't expect it to be useful for than one season. Strong winds tore the original heavy-duty umbrella fabric, but the frame was still strong. I prefer to have this on there and replace as needed. I feel it will be more cost effective in the long run.

We bought this in August 2021 and we are just now replacing. It has see 4 summers, weathering the heat, storms and wind. The quality of the material is excellent. It was of good quality. Easy to install and use. It faded a bit the first year and more each year after. The price for the blue green we bought is now $30 less. Probably a close out. We will be replacing with another color but only for choice. Thick material and very functional.

I am a great believer in repairing not replacing. I had no idea that you could buy a replacement umbrella like this. One of our patio umbrellas had become horribly chewed by squirrels while in storage, but the wooden bottom part was still perfectly lovely and in good working order. It seemed such a shame to just discard this. Well, I thought "look on Amazon", and there it was. Affordable, in a fine selection of colours, and delivered so quickly ! It went on easily and looks beautiful.

The replacement fit just fine for me. No problems, didn't have to cut any hole or any of the complaints I see of others.As far as ease of installation, I would say its medium difficulty. Of course there are no instructions included so you have to figure it out yourself. I watched some YouTube videos before trying and that was really helpful. You have to be creative, especially if working by yourself. I am very skilled with tools and problem solving. I dont think my wife would have pulled off the replacement, especially by herself. In fact, she wouldn't have even tried. She was ready to buy two new whole umbrella assemblies and they are not cheap. She wasn't convinced these are even replaceable until I had them on.The downside is these do not keep their beautiful color out of the package very long. The two pictures I added here are less than 1-1/2 months. Installed on May 30 2022 and already faded like this by July 10 2022. I replaced the old ones because they were actually starting to tear, so at least these arent doing that...yet, now almost 9 months later.I downgraded my review to 3 stars from 4 (I dont know where my other review went, Amazon didn't prompt me to revise it, but I know I reviewed this right out of the box). Fading like this so fast is very disappointing and I see I'm not the only customer reporting this. The price keeps it at 3 stars (just OK) as well as the apparent decent fabric and stitching quality...for the money. These are lighter weight than what they replaced.These do not repel rain/water out of the box. I know this and before I installed them, I laid them out on my gravel driveway and applied silicone waterproofing spray which was about a $5-$10 additional investment each. They still wont keep you dry in any real downpour but will for a while in a light rain.I'd like to know of a replacement that wont fade, but feel like I cant trust any of them. Simply paying more will not guarantee that. So, we'll just deal with our less than beautiful faded parasols.
