Well build but a little scratchy
I own some 50 fountain pens; the build quality of this one is top notch, but the writing experience is a little scratchier than even a cheap Chinese pen. Gold nib is a little springy than steel which is nice. I owned a couple Sailor pens and this amount of scratchiness seems common (had worse) for fine nib. In conclusion, it's difficult to recommend it :(

Easy piston-filling system. Great feel!
I like the piston filling system. It’s very easy and less wasteful than cartridges I’m still getting used to the fine point, but it’s great for detail art work. It has a good feel. It’s lightweight, but not to small. Also, it looks good!

If it is platinum plated, then it is a five star. Writes very well, as expected. Very light-weight and comfortable in hand. Good for the hour-long writing exercises.
