If i had a hammer...
I'd hammer in the morning. those pesky naughty elves were at it again. they left my daughter a geode rock to crack open. i purchased this along with a small chisel and together we successfully exposed the wonderful crystal inside. but what to do with this item now that our rock breaking festivities are over? luckily, it also functions as a regular hammer. used it most recently to nail in the backing board of a new bookcase. its nice and light so my daughter was able to help, yet tough enough to hammer the tacks in with ease. perfect for those quick hammering jobs when you dont want to get your full toolbox out. and lets be honest, theirs nothing a hammer cant fix.

Nice Little Geo Hammer
Looks like they have improved the way the head is attached. After reading other posts was a bit concerned but it seems firmly on. Haven't used it yet but is what I wanted, not too heavy or big, just enough for a bit of casual fossil hunting in Lyme Regis and a bargin at the price 😀.

Great Tool
This was for my granddaughter to help her with study of rocks & minerals. It really helped her. Therefore worth the money

It's a hammer
Got this for my 5 year old who wants to find fossils. It's works very well. I have four broken paving slabs, two broken flower pots, a chipped brick, and a dented near side car door.

Potentially lovely tool BUT head flew off within five minutes
Nice hammer .. Lovely handle .. The weight is ideal for peeps with grip problems (and older children) and perfect for geode cracking or tidying collected rock edges. I'll have to get small wood wedges to fix the head securely back on to the hammer though. The price is good however so I forgive the problems with it. I can repair this one and afford another (I will buy again until I find similar with secure build quality)

Broke after first use, hammer inadequately glued onto handle
Whilst the hammer head and the handle seem to be pretty good quality by themselves they just aren’t adequately joined - the manufacturer has rammed the handle in and out some resin in the end, the hammer head came off after hitting a few things. Potentially quite dangerous as the head could fly off and hit someone.
