great for calligraphy AND language students
This book is a thin volume yet worth every penny. It presents each letter of the Greek alphabet with its pronunciation, capital and cursive writing style, and very clear instructions on how to draw them. There is plenty of space to practice with some lines that have shapes that can be traced - thus helping the learning process. There are also blank lines but not too many, so while thin this book is a very good investment.

LOVE THIS!
I LOVE THIS BOOK! I've been studying Greek for a few years, and the alphabet has been my biggest challenge. (How do you make an upside down Y?) The numbered strokes and multiple fonts help immensely!! There is a minor typo; rho shows up under chi, but no biggie. No author is listed, so, whoever is in Texas compiling Greek texts: THANKS!

Basic letter practice
Very basic letter practice, some free lines to write on, not nothing else.

Worked for me!
I wasn't looking for calligraphy, just wanting to learn the alphabet, but learning the stroke order helped a lot.

Awful. Won't teach you how to read/write Greek handwriting
This is really an awful book. The text comprises 4 fonts -- publication ones, not handwritten. "A Handwriting Practice Workbook: Perfect your calligraphy skills and dominate the Hellenic script" is just pure hyperbole. There is almost nothing useful about handwriting in this book.Additionally, the stokes and stroke order are full of errors or are inconsistent. A simple example you can see in the preview is the capital Άλφα is shown with 3 strokes. It is 2 strokes max using the stroke paths shown. These mistakes are throughout and will frustrate you if you are trying to learn Greek handwriting (not typing). If you don't learn how to write like Greek people do (and the variations), you will never be able to write or read typical handwriting well.If you don't know any Greek, this will help you learn to read typed Greek, but so will just about any Greek alphabet listing out there.I found this to be a frustrating text. People don't write like a typewriter. There are many typical ways that people write Greek letters. For example, Ω is usually written as a circle with a line under it.Instead, I highly recommend you surf YouTube for user Chromozol. He has the most amazing videos on how Greek people actually write Greek letters. There are two videos which are really just amazing.I give this 2 stars for being a basic Greek alphabet learning book and for the pages to practice writing (best from the YouTube source above).
