Beautiful picture quality
I had the Hyperkin Panorama. It worked but had wavy lines and flickering. I was going to spring for a more expensive one from Pound but it was gonna cost more than half what I paid for my used Xbox with cables and 2 controllers. But Amazon suggested this brand. I had heard that the Pound has a powered option but says you don’t need it. However, most people find it needs it. This one from Zuzong seems very similar to the Pound but has all the wires you need to power it and is more reasonably priced. So far it is working beautifully. Much better picture than Hyperkin.

It just works and works perfectly!
Considering what I've heard about 'original Xbox' HDMI adapters in general, I was very pleasantly surprised by how trouble free this was. I was already using my Xbox on an older LCD TV that had component cable inputs so the Xbox was already set to output using the component (as opposed to composite) signal. I moved the Xbox to my living room TV, used this thing to connect it to HDMI, and that was it. It worked with no issues and looks exactly as good as it did on the other TV using the component cables. I am very pleased! This thing does require its own power source but it also comes with its own 5 watt power brick and micro USB cable.

works great for older tv with HDMI.
The product is very easy to use, and the response is fast, it doesn't have that long pause like some adapters before coming on. My only issue was the picture quality on my 4k tv and 1080p tv. All the images were too dark. Even with the brightness turned up. If you have an early model tv with HDMI that has 720p then you're good. Especially a CRT tv with an HDMI output. Remember most games with the OG Xbox were in 480p or 1080i. A 720p tv can easily convert those images into a nice playable game with good images. Any tv higher like 4k or 1080p and the OG Xbox games struggles to keep up with it.

Worked like a champ
I recently pulled the original Xbox out of the attic for my gaming son, but the original components played picture, but no audio. I was really having to go back into the depths of my memory to get the red blue and newer S component to work LOL. Couldn’t get audio on same input, don’t think that digital in works on my receiver. Assumed nobody under 40 would even know what all the colored wires even meant and there had to be an adapter. Found this HDMI solution, plugs 1 end into Xbox and other end into HDMI. I didn’t realize this adapter required power at first, plug the adapter into the wall and presto works like a champ. Projecting an almost quarter century old gaming console onto a wall screen in 1080!Son and I fired up Halo…showing these kids how cool us old schoolers are. :)

Plug and play
Really makes a difference in the picture and sound quality especially on larger screens. Doesn’t have a separate power source so no worries about extra wires laying around behind the x-box.

HIGH QUALITY THUG2
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. I purchased a RetroScaler2x but unfortunately it doesn’t support 480p and up.. Day and night difference no fogginess at all on LED HDTV.. Whoever’s brain came up with this is a winner. Worth every penny

Only 480i
I'd give it ZERO stars if I could. I was so excited to play my Xbox after all these years, hampered by a destroyed video cord. I finally got everything in the package and realized I was shipped the "on/off switch" version of this converter. There is no way to view it above 480i. Why they have different versions of this converter is beyond me, but it sucks. Tried on several monitors and televisions with different HDMI cables. I tried my heart out. I will be returning, and not rebuying. The shipper should be clearer with functions of the converter. It does not have functionality as advertised. Not worth it, buyer beware. See pictures.
