Works as well as it can
With the ban on methylene chloride, this is probably the best you can get. Nothing strips paint off like methylene chloride, but since you can't get it any more we're stuck with second best. This stuff took off some ultra thick polyurethane on a cabinet humidor pretty easily. I did have to apply it two or three times to get it all of. I also had to wrap the area in plastic wrap. Leave it for 2 hours. Come back and the finish came off easy with a paint scraper. It's work.. but this does better than anything else I tried.

Works well
I've used this many times when I need to strip furniture. Very satisfied with the results. May have to do a few times, depending on how many layers of paint, or if you are removing varnish. Removing varnish is much messier than paint. But still, a good product and would purchase again.

Absolute Joke – “2 Minute Remover” is a Total Lie
Title: Absolute Joke – “2 Minute Remover” is a Total LieIf I could give this zero stars, I would. This product is a complete farce. The only thing it removed in two minutes was my hope that it might actually work.I followed the instructions to the letter – prepped the surface, applied a generous amount, and waited. Two minutes passed. Nothing. Five minutes. Still nothing. After thirty minutes, I scraped and all I got was a sticky mess and a bad attitude. Tried again, this time thicker. Still worthless. Tried on paint, varnish, even a light stain – it didn’t so much as bubble. I’ve had better results with warm water and a scrub brush. The name “Advanced Liquid” implies this is some kind of high-tech solution. In reality, it’s just overpriced, underperforming sludge. I bought the 2-pack thinking I was being efficient. Joke’s on me. Now I’ve got two gallons of disappointment taking up space in my shop.Sunnyside should be ashamed to slap their name on this. Don’t waste your money or your time. This product flat-out does not work.

didn’t work for me
I don’t know what kind of paint I was removing from this metal frame but it had regular looking primer underneath. It wasn’t powder coated for sure, maybe it would’ve worked if it was.It didn’t work at all, only made the surface a little gooey and I wound up cleaning it and sanding it. It didn’t wrinkle up at all. I’ll try it on my next project and see but this one was a bust.

Look elsewhere if you have to strip decades old multilayered painted surfaces.
Not effective for old multilayered painted surfaces. Underlying paint layers are not softened by this product. Seems reasonably effective for thin single layers only. Other than that, it adheres to vertical surfaces well and does not have an overwhelming chemical smell.Edit: Found a technique that works on old multilayered paint surfaces. Coat the painted surface with this product then cover the area with painters tape ensuring good contact between the tape and the painted surface. Wait for 30 min or longer which allows the product to penetrate to and soften the lowest layers of paint. Works well for ornate profiles that are not amenable to sanding.

It works!
Works great!! Purchased on a whim. I'm used to using a different brand, but was curious about this one. Didn't disappoint.

Works great!
I bought a house recently the former owner built himself. The ceiling (upper left corner of photo) and most of the walls are wood. However someone painted the stair rails and trim in a flat dark rust color. I don't like it. I decided to strip and go back to the natural wood. It will compliment the not bright green much better. This stripper works great! I didn't notice it smelling that bad. You do only have a couple of minutes before you need to start scraping it off or it dries up. I used a dry paper towel first and then went over it with a clean damp rag. I think I will also use a wire brush going forward because there is still some paint in some crevices but that is not the fault of the stripper. That being said there is only one coat of paint on those. I am also stripping a chair someone painted in multiple coats of red paint I found in the garage I am stripping as well. You will have to probably do multiple applications to get through thick paint but you would with any stripper. The chair is after two applications on the back and seat. Very pleased.

Works great!
10/10. Used it on an old Ithaca MAG-10 wood stock, and it removed all the old spray paint flawlessly. Surprisingly Works faster than advertised, great stuff.
