My dad has metastatic neuroendocrine cancer that cannot be cured. He was getting some fairly intense treatments that lowered his platelet count so low that they wouldn’t let him continue the treatments. So we did some research and saw that papaya can raise platelet counts. At this price we figured we may as well give it a shot. Well, it worked very well. The platelet counts really went up and after a while almost back to normal. I would urge anyone in a similar situation to try this as it made a real difference for us. The oncologist isn’t so sure if this is what did it but I can’t see any reason why it went up other that these papaya pills.

I bought this product to reduce swelling after a laser procedure that I’ve had recently. I feel that this product may work more for digestive health than anything else. Great price, easy to ingest, fast shipping.

Use this to help with my blood sugar with a t2d for me it works really well I've tried others I tried fenugreek and that didn't help at all it just raise my blood sugar like nobody's business I found this product to work the absolute best to keep my personal blood sugar down below 120

I used to use a competing brand of Papaya Leaf extract, but it was 6 times the price of these capsules. The only difference was that the Swanson caps were 400 mg, while the competing brand was 600 mg. When I inquired about the price differential, the competing brand said theirs was organic and produced in an USDA certified facility. Well, I don't know if the Swanson is organic or not, but if that's reason enough to pay 6 times the price, go right ahead. Anyway, I tried these caps, and my platelet levels seem to be similar to when I used the competing brand (goes slightly up and down within a range). So I'd advise at least trying these and see if you're happy with the results. I am.

I’m a platelet donor and my count is on the lower end for a healthy adult. 180-200,000. I was hoping to increase my count so I could donate more than one unit each time I give. Used the whole bottle and my count didn’t budge at all.
