Good For Low Carb Diet!
This pasta is the best brand I’ve found for a low carb diet. It’s definitely a harder pasta with less flavor than normal pasta but that’s absolutely expected for a lower carb option that’s not a veggie substitute. If you cook it too long thinking it will soften it ends up falling apart. Typically I boil the pasta then put in a baking dish, layer with tomato sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. It’s a perfect alternative when you’re craving pasta on a low carb diet. Definitely pricey for pasta - BUT all low carb pasta is pricey and this is comparable to other brands if not cheaper. I’ve ordered multiple times and will continue to! My recommendation is to make sure whatever you’re cooking the pasta with or topping off with is flavorful and to not overcook thinking the pasta will soften. I’ve also tried a variety pack from this brand and the rotini is definitely my favorite.

Disgusting
The directions say to boil for 8-10 min. I started with 8 because typically I like my pasta el dente, but it was definitely not done so we tried for 10 then 12, 15, 18...we ended up cooking it for 30 MINUTES and it still was not cooked. It had the most disgusting flavor and it kind of crumbled when you bit into it. I don't know if we got an old package or what because all of the other reviews are great. But I definitely won't be buying again 🤢

The ONLY Impasta I’m buying now
This was SO GOOD. Honestly I was reading the reviews and I was a little hesitant because of all the back and forth going on, but WOW. The one thing I can agree with, is that you need to cook it longer. I boiled it for 30 minutes (not a big deal). I also HEAVILY seasoned my water. After I drained it and threw it in the rest of my ingredients? Just WOW. This the BEST Impasta that I’ve had. And it’s so filling. The flavor and texture is like a wheat pasta. Definitely worth every penny and will be the impasta I buy from now on.

So here’s what happened…
I’ve been using the fettuccine for years…good stuff. It only needs about 4 minutes to boil and it has a nice texture. So I figured I’d branch out and try the rotini. After boiling for 10 minutes it was…chewy. But also had kind of a dry and crumbly mouth feel. I wasn’t impressed. So I added some water and gave it another 5 minutes boiling. A little bit better, although it was falling apart somewhat. I didn’t want to overcook it, so I drained and let cool a bit. I was making a salmon pasta salad and I didn’t want to ruin the whole dish with subpar pasta if I could help it. So while it cooled I came to Amazon to read some reviews again. Since there were a few that said the final outcome wasn’t bad, I decided to go for it. Turns out that the final outcome was great actually. With the mayo and nicely seasoned salmon mix, the pasta texture was a plus! This is definitely not the pasta for plain buttered or just some sauce. It needs accoutrement. Expensive, but I’d buy it again.

Sadly disappointed
I had such high hopes for this product! Had tried a different low carb nada noodle by a different company with great success, so really thought this one would hit the mark as well. But no dice.It took twice as long to cook to get to al dente as indicated. And took twice as much water. I even added salt & a tiny bit of dried garlic to the water, but this rotini just had no flavor and the consistency is just odd. Was trying for a pasta a olio with grilled chicken, garlic & fresh basil from my garden, with only the EVOO & a tab of butter. Should have been delicious! But blech, the noodles just added this odd flavor. Had to dump a pesto all over it to make it remotely tasty.I'll use them up, eventually. But will not reorder.

Very nice flavor
While the texture isn't exactly like wheat based pasta, it is close enough knowing that I will not have any digestion issues. Little pricey but, so worth it to me.

Mine was basically inedible
Following the instructions on the package, I boiled the pasta for 8-10 minutes but it never seemed to finish. Every time I tried a noodle it tasted like cardboard and broke apart in chunks. I tried boiling for longer but the pasta never got soft enough. I would not recommend buying this, especially for $25.

Bang
This is a pasta substitute that has 18g of fiber, 12g of protein, 100 calories per serving and is low carb. And somehow people have the nerve to complain about taste and texture? If you want pasta taste and texture, eat regular pasta! With that being said it was fantastic. Will buy again
