Not for SP-404MKII
First off, 5 stars because this does exactly what it’s supposed to: plug it into a 5v usb-a source, get 9v DC out. However, don’t be like me and buy it with the idea of powering your SP-404MKII because that particular model of the SP-404 in fact takes a 5.7v power supply

must buy if you have the SP.
Power cords for like small box like the 404 should be a thing of the past.Since I do not have to plug it in to a wall outlet anymore I do not have my work process has been quicker.Remember when you have an music idea and youre very inspired to just create and you just want to get to it.This somehow eliminates the distractions of tidying up and assembling.you'll be surprised that it doesnt even take a lot of power. I hook it to my powerbank and it has not even touched the amount of power in it. i have not charged my power bank nearly a month now and I still have full amount of battery - this is with nearly 3 times a week 5+ hours/day

Works with the right Brick
Works on my SP-404sx. Two bits of advice:1-Didn't work with the first brick I used, had to try another.2-The SP404 doesn't boot up right away. Give it a secondOnce I figured out those quirks, It's awesome!

I'm impressed, I will order again.
I use cheap 5 to 7 dollar step up cables all the time for my pt-01s, cheaper drum machine, and other equipment. I wanted a safer product for my sp-404 just incase something went wrong. I will stick with ripcord cables from now on. Im very impressed with the quality. Thinking of getting the crazy chain to chain to my sp-202 next.

Worked with Behringer TD-3 and RD-6
I'm using it on my Behringer TD-3 and RD-6 drum machines. It works great and has more than enough amperes for these devices. Ripcord is 9V @ 1A. The drum machine only needs 0.3 A (300mA). Worked successfully with a Y-cable to run both machines from a single Ripcord.

Works with Zoom ST223
Works well with my zoom st223 and a powerbank or wall plug in cellphone charger. But not while plugged in a USB with my LG Gram laptop. But very happy with it.

Works perfectly with SP-404 MKII
This works perfect using the new 404 with a power bank. Also great because it frees up the usb c port for sampling

Doesn't Work with Boss RC-505MKII As Stated on myVolts Website
I received this AA927MS 9V center-negative 1,333mA cable but it cannot power the Boss RC-505MKII as stated on the myVolts website. This was the correct model, it said AA927MS on the cable. I don't have confidence that it was just a bad unit and will be returning, instead using the JBL 1300mA USB to 9V cable, which works with the Boss RC-505MKII in my testing.
