Fresh Air Without the Fuss
Fresh Air Without the FussI’ve been running the LEVOIT Vital 100 air purifier in my bedroom for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of those appliances I didn’t realize I needed until I had it. Setup was literally plug-and-play—no complicated app or connectivity issues, just a straightforward control panel that anyone can figure out.The first thing I noticed was how quiet it runs. On the low setting, it’s almost a whisper—perfect for nighttime use without disturbing sleep. Even at higher speeds, the sound is more of a gentle fan hum than a distraction. The washable pre-filter is a nice bonus; it catches pet hair and dust so the main filter lasts longer, which should save money over time.Performance-wise, it does its job. The air feels fresher, and I’ve noticed less dust settling on surfaces. For someone with mild seasonal allergies, that’s a big win. It also seems to help with cooking odors that tend to linger.A couple of things to be aware of: it’s a medium-sized unit, so make sure you have floor space for it. Also, while the pre-filter is washable, the HEPA and carbon filters do need replacing periodically—budget for that if you plan to run it daily.Bottom line: A reliable, easy-to-use air purifier that runs quietly and freshens the air without extra fuss. A solid pick if you’re looking for cleaner air in your bedroom or living space.

Affordable and effective for dust and allergens
We moved into an incredibly dusty townhouse, I have terrible allergies, and we discovered our neighbors are chain smokers. We now have 3 Levoit air purifiers in our home: Vital 100 (non-smart version), Core Mini and Vital 200S.I initially bought the Vital 100 and put it in our bedroom because I have terrible allergies. It collected a ton of dust and helped a lot with the allergies. I thought I didn't need the smart version but in hindsight the availability of specialty filters and the remote control would be very helpful. It's relatively quiet although on high it's too noisy for me to sleep with. I absolutely love that you can turn the all the control lights off. We tried using this for the cigarette smell but it wasn't very effective except when the smell was very light. It did completely abolish cooking smells though. If I could go back in time I would have ordered the 100S instead but this one works fine. The smoke smell from the neighbors comes into our house through the laundry room which is a very small room. I bought the Core Mini to try to combat it. The Core Mini doesn't really do much to get rid of smells and was definitely overwhelmed by the smoke so now we move it around the house now when the pollen level is high. It works ok for dust and allergens but the range isn't great; you need to be right next to it to notice a difference. On low and medium speed it's barely audible and high is relatively quiet but overall the fan isn't very powerful. The lights on this one automatically turn off after a few seconds making it bedroom friendly. If I could do it again, I would have skipped this one and bought one of the larger ones sooner.Lastly, in an attempt to mitigate the smoke coming from next door, we got the big boi Vital 200S with the add on smoke specialty filter. So far it isn't able to remove the smell while they're smoking but it does cut down the severity and will clear it eventually provided the source stops for long enough. It's amazingly quiet on the lower speeds. It's pretty loud on the higher speeds but the fan moves a ton of air around. I'm disappointed that the auto mode doesn't detect the smoke smell but I can use the app to turn it to high speed as soon as I smell it. You don't have to use the app but it's really easy to set up and connect. The app allows you to set schedules which is really handy and as I touched on earlier, it works as a remote control. As with the others, you're able to turn the lights off completely so it's good for bedrooms. We've only had this running a few days but I'm pretty impressed with what it can do.

Highly recommend for cleaner air!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This air purifier works so well I bought a second one for another room in my house. It does a great job picking up pet hair and dander and really makes a difference in the air quality of our living spaces!

Vital 100 Air Purifier (Cream White)
The Vital 100 air purifier in cream white offers an impressive blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. The sleek, minimalist design fits seamlessly into modern home decor while delivering efficient air purification. What stands out immediately is its quiet operation – even on higher settings, it maintains a gentle white noise that's barely noticeable. The unit's size is perfect for medium-sized rooms, and its simple interface makes operation intuitive. The air quality indicator provides helpful real-time feedback, though I wish it was slightly more detailed in its readings. Filter replacement is straightforward, and the maintenance reminder is a thoughtful feature that prevents overlooking this crucial task.Performance-wise, I've noticed a significant reduction in dust and allergens. The multi-stage filtration system effectively captures everything from pet dander to cooking odors. During wildfire season, it proved particularly valuable in maintaining clean indoor air. The energy efficiency is also noteworthy – running it 24/7 hasn't notably impacted my electricity bill.At $99.99 (on sale from $119.99), it represents solid value, especially considering its robust build quality and reliable performance. The only minor drawbacks are the somewhat basic timer settings and the fact that replacement filters aren't the cheapest.Overall, the Vital 100 strikes an excellent balance between performance, design, and value. Whether you're dealing with allergies, pets, or simply want cleaner air, this purifier delivers consistent results while looking good in your space.

Work extremely well and is SO QUIET!
This is incredible! A friend recommended it to me and I figured we would try it out! I'm not sure how we survived without it! The room smells so much cleaner and the amount of dust and dirt that I have cleaned off the filter is INSANE! I am amazed as how well this product works! It doesn't take really any effort to set it up other than getting it pulled out of the box and plugged in. The design is sleek and we love that you can turn off the display lights so that is isn't a disturbance while sleeping. It Is is quiet that I have to put my hand over the top sometimes just to make sure that is it on!!
