Stickiest
This worked for what I needed it for but I swear this is the most adhesive stuff I've ever used. There is no room for error. Once you peel that back off and it touches anything it's there for good. I wasted a couple of the containers I was using it on just not having it lined up perfectly. It did cut easily although I would recommend using a dedicated pair of scissors or knife for it as it leaves the black adhesive all over them too. Scuffs and leaves impressions easily but I think that's common in this type of material. All in all a good product for my purposes and I would purchase again.

Strong adhesion, good material, good value
I bought this to use as a gasket between two steel plates on a car project. The material is of good quality and has good cushion. Be careful when you remove the paper backing, because once you touch the adhesive back, it's stuck where it is. You can not pull it up and move it without losing some of the adhesive.

Use scissors to cut
Product was as advertised a bit flimsy but served my need. Be extra careful though if you need to cut it. Use scissors. X-ACTO knife didn't work well

Just Right.
Works great for a thick pad.

Glue backing sticks very well, easy to peel.
Great product, exactly as described. Adhesive backing actually bonded to a kayak made of polyethylene which is very difficult to get anything to glue to. Usually requires specialized glues and preparation. 1/2" waterproof foam is resilient and pliable, not too soft or too firm. Great cushioning for delicate electronics, phones, cameras. Backing peels of in one piece easily. Position carefully before bonding, you will not be able to remove it when stuck on.

You get what you pay for.. not bad, but not great.
Get what you pay for, I purchase these as supplement for the ones I bought from mcmaster and hoping it would work on a dolly project.. but learn real quick they would be great for home use with little use, it's not ment for commercial or regular use.. they tear easy from a small snag, or having something smooth come across can snag and tear, the adhesive is super strong, way stronger then the material, ie stuck a coner on a piece of paper, the adhesive did not let go but the foam material ripped before the papper did. But you get what you pay for, industrial brand material cost 3x more, but is 6x stronger.. awesome for kids projects or extremely light used. I gave the roll to my kids to keep, as long as they did not stick it anywhere, it has really strong adhesive.

For barefoot comfort on my under-desk elliptical!
I got a new machine to keep me healthier when working at a desk (works okay) and before the first day was over I ordered this. The 1/8 inch thickness is ideal. The pain of the hard plastic spikes and ridges is gone, and it conforms to the shape perfectly so you can still see them. It's even warmer, looks nicer (flat black), and is easy to cut out. Just grab some heavy duty foil or paper to make a template, mark the back, flip it, mark another one. You'll figure it out. Very aggressive adhesive - I completely peeled it and gingerly positioned and layed it down.

Cut larger
First I measured my drawer and then measured on the foam to cut it. Every time, once I removed the backing the foam ended up much to small. It's obviously stretched onto the backing paper so your measurements are way off. Tried stretching it during application to the drawer and it tears. Try pulling back up to adjust, it tears. Adhesuon is great though. Stronger than the material. So I guess if it was actually cut to size from what I measured and it didn't shrink, might actually be semi decent. But its not, and it made a mess. Alot of wasted material. Not impressed. Will look into packing foam 1/8" thick and using spray adhesive. It won't shrink.
