Works great, smells good. You can extend the usable life buy storing in a zip bag when not wearing it.

I just got back from a trip to central america, and yes, I purchased the PARA'KITO for the mosquito bites, that I seem to attract at every vacation trip I take.now, the question is, would i wear this bracelet again. to keep it short, the answer is YES, but did it do the job at 100%, no, but the difference was noticeable.the package comes with 2 scented tablets, so I wore one on the bracelet, and I tied another one on my backpack. and at night I placed my backpack on one end of the bed, and the bracelet on the other end while I slept.the scent does seem to repel the mosquitoes, as they were visible around my "PARA'KITO bubble". but somehow the scent was not pleasing to them, and kept a distance.I did get bit here and there, but was nothing, compared to all my previous visits.I would recommend it, 100%.if you want 100% protection, then it would be not to be around mosquitoes, or bathed in mosquito spray.enjoy your next trip.

Bracelets like this are not so much a repellant as they are a scent mask. It keeps mosquitos from swarming to your location by messing with the scent receptors used to detect your breath and skin secretions. It will not stop a mosquito that randomly lands on you from biting you. This should be used in conjunction with DEET or Picaridin on the skin and Permethrin treated clothing and gear. Warning: the smell is EXTREMELY strong right after opening. Do not wear this in enclosed spaces during the first 2 days, because it will be overpowering. I wanted to cry while driving. After that it tapers off. You can put it in double ziploc bags to keep it from degrading between uses and to mask the smell.

I live in Florida and generally don't have a problem with mosquitoes, but on my last few trips to the Cayman islands I came home with welts that people swore had to be from giant spider bites. Nope, little mosquitoes.So this trip I tried to be prepared and got two of these bands. Wore one on my right wrist, the other my left ankle. I swear it attracted those little buggers instead of repelling them. I am covered in bites, including on the ankle and wrist that housed the bracelets with cartridge.

I got this to combat the Asian Tiger Mosquito INSIDE MY HOUSE after we sprayed for mosquitoes outside and they all decided to move inside.I'm not sure how this works with other species, but it does not work specifically for the Asian Tiger species. I've watched them literally land on the wristband and rest after sucking out half of my blood. It's being treated like a park bench in central park where middle management guys can enjoy a sack lunch.

A MUST WHEN TRAVELING

I rave about this thing all the time. It doesn't smell the greatest but its better than having bug spray directly on your skin. Especially when you are allergic to deet like myself. Its comfortable, I don't even notice I have it on when I wear it. And the fact that the tablet lasts as long as it does is a super bonus
