Nintendo DS Lite Crimson / Black (Renewed)

Works great although I really wanted an Nintendo 3DS .

They done a really good job in refurbishing this DS & such an affordable price $90? Can’t beat that! With this excellent condition!! There’s just minor scratch on top of DS but it doesn’t bother me. 😍Now I can relive my childhood games

Was glad to make this purchase I never had this version of the DS lite growing up and always wanted one! Just came in the mail today super fast shipping!

Ds came in pretty much next to perfect condition aside from a couple scratches on the back of the top shell, it’s pretty nice to look at! I’ve never seen this kind of dslite color in person and the red metallic color is very nice. One issue that would be a dealbreaker for others is that the charger that came with this isn’t for the dslite, I’m pretty sure it’s for the 3ds and it was in kind of rickety condition. But if you don’t care about that it’s not too bad.

My son just opened his gift for Christmas. He only wanted a DS system. He comes up to me with the power cord and asks where to plug it in one the DS. I look and find the power port, but the charger they sent with it doesn't fit the DS Lite. The unit powers on fine and had a charge. I didn't want to send unit back, do I had to order a separate charger.

Considering it was used my grand son love it and so far no problem

I'll start off by mentioning the one thing that actually bothered me, when this arrived. It came in a suspiciously large box that made me double check Amazon and the tracking number to be extra certain what it was, as I hadn't recently ordered anything even remotely big enough to merit that box size.That aside, after getting it out of the box, I proceeded to check it over, dust it, and test it. It had a bit of dust, but that was easily wiped away with a good dust cloth. With the exception of one white scratch-shaped mark next to the volume slider, there weren't any aesthetic issues. After that, I turned it on and tested it. The touch screen's calibration was crazy off, at first, but after getting through the initial setup, a simple normal re-calibration fixed that right up. I proceeded to test it with both DS and GBA games - testing all buttons on the console. Everything functions cleanly and smoothly. After a quick test of the charger that it came with (also fully functional), I handed it over to the one I bought it for - my best friend who had this same color of DS lite as a kid. She has been enjoying playing on a DS just like the one she once had ever since.
