This product is amazing. I was dealing with a very heavy rash on my back which seemed to be worse after showering. I wasn't sure if it was eczema or some sort of allergy, but I have eczema-prone dry skin and 0 allergies, so I tried this product. (I'm now almost convinced it was asteatotic eczema but who knows, it's just a self-diagnosis).I applied it 3 times a day in the first few days and I started noticing the difference after the very first application. After only 2-3 days, I reduced frequency to 2 times a day. My skin got so incredibly soft (according to my partner, my back hadn't been this soft in all the time he's known me). After another few days, I used it only after showering for a while, but I eventually stopped because the problem didn't return. I am now using Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion and saving this one for the next serious flare-up. It solved my problem so quickly, it really did seem like magic. A MUST-buy for anyone with eczema.There is a little bit of medicinal scent but it doesn't bother me at all. The cream is obviously very thick, which I normally don't enjoy, but that's absolutely what I needed in this case.

UPDATE: from 2020-2024I am still using this product every single day in my daily skin routine. It is still the best heavy moisturizer I’ve ever used and I know it’s going to protect my skin from eczema or any other random dry patches, acne, skin irritations. It also gives me peace of mind when I use a new product, if I also use this I won’t feel the ramifications of a new product on my skin and my skin not liking it!! Still 10/10!! :)My face went through a really terrible rash episode. This fixed it soo quickly, my whole face was completely cleared up in less than two weeks. Ever since that, I have used this everyday as my ONLY skin care item. I don’t need anything else expect for this. It heavily moisturizes my skin and keeps me from breaking out (in rashes and in terms of acne). This is the best skin care product I’ve EVER used. I’ve recommended it to many of my friends and they’ve all gave it stunning reviews!

I keep this in my operating room bag. We keep our operating rooms at 62 degrees F/(16 C), so my skin can become very dry. This works well, there is no scent which is good for the patients. I took away a star because it started to irritate my eczema on my legs when over applying. It proves very MINOR relief to itching.

I suffer from pretty severe dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. I've tried over-the-counter creams, home remedies, and even ointments and steroid creams from my doctor. None did anything. I was so miserable that I decided to try this cream. While it is by no means a cure-all, it has definitely healed my skin between flares and reduced the occurrence of flares from every 1-2 days to about once a week. This morning, however, I woke up with a major flare on my hands. So, while this cream is not a cure, I won't go without it while trying to eliminate my flare triggers. It has no pleasant smell, in fact it has no smell at all unless you sniff the application site like a weirdo. The only con is that it's kind of greasy. But hey, I'll take greasy and moisturized over blistered and itchy any day of the week! If you've got dyshidrotic eczema, I highly recommend you give it a try! I couldn't find this any in any stores so Amazon may be your best bet.

This product is great for its purpose. I went into this purchase thinking I was going to find the final resolution for my dyshridrotic eczema on my ring finger and it definitely provided momentary relief. However, my actual type of eczema required “dry time” to heal and the lotion application was unfortunately making it worse in the long run. I ended up needing a prescription topical steroid to truly heal! I can finally wear my gold rings again.For topical eczema or temporary relief after hot showers or on dry skin, this lotion works great! Consistency is creamy and really moisturizes, leaving skin feeling smooth.

I initially gave Eucerin a one-star rating, and wrote: "Very disappointed. Immediately increased the itching, which was bad to begin with. And stung." That was very true, but out of desperation, after trying a few other skin creams that did nothing, I tried Eucerin again. And THIS time it didn't sting or increase the itching. It didn't totally relieve the itching either, but it did help a bit over time, enough that I'm buying another tube of it. Very difficult to get help for allergic eczema from anything. Wish Eucerin were more effective, but at least it does something.
