Get it
This is a champion grill. You need this in your life. Got a hitch on the truck? Take it camping. I bbqd while driving on the freeway heading to the tailgate football game last year. Showed up, cut up some tritip and ate before the game. Left a slow cook going during the game and had some more bbq after the game. It holds its temp incredibly well. Easy to clean, I can sear at 900 deg, I can slow cook at 150-200 or whatever. It’s sturdy and robust. The air intakes are well built. Get this.

Looooove this thing!
I was going to write a review about how this keg can't ruin any food but reviewer Paul Zedack already covered that part. 😂. My wife thinks this thing is magic because everything has come out moist and flavoritius. Burgers, chicken, shrimp, pastrami, bacon, DUCK!!! Holy moley roast duck at Christmas was spectacular. In winter. Outside. Could not have done that in the webber. We've simply started using it as our second oven. I even floated the idea of getting a second one ( you need two - one for hot and one for not so hot, really!!!😂 😂 😂) and got no pushback!!!There are some tweaks that could be done to make it better - the grill grate really should have a removable section for weird adds. Not sure why they went away from that. But most of the time is not an issue if you plan your cook right.Air leakage is a minor issue, gaskets could seal a bit better but again I've had no problems maintaining 225 for hours.I had no shipping damage when I got mine, but yah it's a heavy beast and if the shippers drop it it's probably going to get bent. However that's also the beauty of the steel keg - drop this one and it gets dented. drop a ceramic keg and it's broken.Anyhow - 5 stars after almost 1 year of use. 😍

Best grill I've ever owned.
Not only is this grill impressive looking, the functionality is off the chart. I love the cast Iron grate. So far, I've only used it for steaks and ribs. It handled that task perfectly. There is more to come, I will keep you posted.

Damaged during shipping. Easy to fix but annoying
I write this as someone who has not used it but more based on the condition in which I received it. I will update after I get a chance to actually use it.I ordered this during a warm spell here in the north east thinking that winter snows might have been over. The package arrived one day before a North Easter was due to hit my area. The package was moved into the garage by a dolly I have for moving heavy objects around. The package sat in a safe, dry, protected area until today when I had a chance to finally open it and build it.The box itself was visibly damaged on arrival. There were two set yellow plastic banding around the box, each set perpendicular to the other. One of the yellow straps was almost torn through. Some of the corners of the box were pushed in.When I opened the package the gasket had fallen out in several places. I pushed them back in to place since the gasket has clips in. During this I noticed various other damage that I am not happy with. Below are the pictures I took after I pushed the gasket back into place. There are numerous spots where the metal coating was violently rubbed away to such a degree that deep gouges are etched into the metal all over the interior liner and the portion that holds the charcoal. The piece that holds the charcoal was unsupported during transport and was smashed with such a force as to bend the sides and scratch the ash box.Ultimately this is minor damage, repairable with high temperature grill spray and some simple bending with pliers. If you're somewhat handy these are easy fixes. However, this isn't an entry tier grill I had paid for.The quality of the grill itself looks and feels durable to the touch despite the complaints I have with damage from shipping.Assembly was a breeze. Having a second set of hands will help mounting the actual keg portion to the base but it can be done alone if you have decent upper body strength.Again, I will update after I had a chance to use it. I would highly recommend ordering from your local lowes/home depot instead of dealing with the problems I have. If you do order it through Amazon, open and inspect it immediately.Update 3/31/18I did the seasoning of the cast iron and one hour burn at temperatures of 400 degrees Fahrenheit.I was impressed at how well it held temperatures. I used a fraction of the charcoal I used in my cheap offset smoker and it reached temperatures of 600 degrees easily and held the temperature for over two hours.I'm holding off changing my rating until I actually cook food with it but based on how well it did the seasoning burn I will be giving more stars.Update 4/09/18I had a chance to finally use this for a 7 pound brisket flat. I am very pleased with the performance of this grill. The gasket is damaged and has to be replaced. You can see smoke coming out the side of the grill with the orange temperature probe display. I have not contacted customer support but if I am happy with their service I will update to 5 stars.I cooked roughly 8 hours on a full basket of lump charcoal. At one point the basket had to be shaken to allow the lump charcoal to collapse on itself and keep burning efficiently. The grate I have does not allow easy access to the fuel source that I have been reading about. I have to take the food off remove the grill, add/shake fuel the out the grill back on and then the food. The performance issues I had are similar to other kamodo styled grill. Once the grill was hot, it stayed hot for a long time. I feel some wobble by the ashtray/intake damper is allowing air in but with the damaged gasket I'm not sure which is the real source of the issue. The grill itself feels like it will last a long time if you take care of it. I am very happy with the grill now that I have used it.

All time best!
Best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Low and slow is easy and high temp too. Well built and uses very little charcoal. Better than the clay/ceramic type. Heats up quicker in winter ( very good for low/slow so you don’t overshoot the heat point) and won’t crack due to temp differential. Like the idea of a trailer hitch but haven’t used it…

This thing will rust, and there is NO WARRANTY SUPPORT
I have had this for almost 7 years. I started out really liking it...and then it started to rust. I kept it under the cover, which I even treated with scotch guard every season. A year and a half ago, the rust had gotten pretty bad, so I called the manufacturer to make a warranty claim (10 year warranty). They took my information, and nothing ever arrived. I called a number of times; each time I was told my claim is in the system and will be processed. IT's been over 18 months and I have never received the new parts, or an update. MY best guess is that they have stopped making this model, and anything you find now is some leftover. IT's a great grill while it works, but I'd spend a little more money on a better quality product from a company that won't hose you. Just my two cents.UPDATE 6/2023: Shortly after the above review was posted, I was contacted by Broil King regarding the warranty claim. They confirmed the parts that I needed, as well as the fact that I still needed them. They told me that the parts should ship to me within a couple of months. Well...that was in January, and now it's the middle of June and I haven't seen any parts arrive, nor have they reached out to contact me again. Major disappointment. I cannot recommend buying anything this company makes - they simply do not stand behind their products.

Great kamado smoker but shipping was subpar.
Smoker must have been dropped in shipping since box was very damaged and lid does not seal without using the lock. This is an old review. I would not order from this vendor.
